Casa Caballeros is the perfect setting to enjoy the warmth and the relaxing spirit of Palm Springs. Located in the heart of Warm Sands, this beautifully restored, charming, 1938, Spanish-style bungalow includes a main house with master suite, a cozy den with fold-out sectional, two full baths, a laundry room, kitchen, dining area, and a living room. Arched, wood-beamed ceilings, Mexican pavers, a gas fireplace, and book-lined shelves give the living/dining area a unique warmth and charm. Lovely artwork and fine touches all combine to make this a truly enchanting and beautiful home.
The attached casita is completely private with a separate entrance, kitchenette with refrigerator (no burners), air conditioning/heating unit, TV, armoire, queen-sized bed, and full bath.
Both the main house and casita have French doors that open to a very private outdoor paradise. Enjoy your morning coffee on the rattan furniture on the covered patio off the main house. Relax and sun on the chaise lounges that surround the figure-eight shaped swimming pool and attached spa. Dine in the covered and lighted gazebo and finish your day sipping a nightcap by the heat of the outdoor fireplace. Stunning mountain views and colorful desert flora complete this garden oasis. Like the backyard, the front yard is lush and green and very private. Two driveways provide ample parking as well as a private side entrance for the casita. The front porch has a covered seating area and mountain views. Eight-foot hedges shield you from the neighbors and towering palms line the walk to the front door.

I'm actually writing from the front porch of this house looking out at the mountains and dreading that I have to leave in an hour and return to reality. This charming bungalow is a gorgeous retreat from daily life and offers everything you could want - a fully stocked kitchen, beautiful decor, private back yard and pool, separate casita for extra privacy, wonderful morning mountain views, peaceful neighborhood just a quick walk from the heart of downtown and minutes from the airport but miraculously off any flight path. Truly an oasis within the oasis in the desert. Can't wait for my next trip here. Thank you SO much for making this house available!Recommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with teenagers, people with disabilities.

We have stayed here for several years now and it feels like home. The house looks small from the street, but once you step inside, you're surprised by how spacious it is. The home is extremely clean, decorated in a beautiful but comfortable manner with everything you could ever want in a vacation home. The backyard is a relaxing private oasis with a pool, jacuzzi, fireplace, barbecue, mood lighting and outdoor speakers. As Midwesterners, we were amazed at the number of hummingbirds, enjoying the garden and little fountain. The casita has its own mini-kitchen and bathroom, which is great for guests. The neighborhood is quiet but within walking distance to the main strip. The owners are warm and gracious. The house manager is really helpful, accommodating and a great source of information for restaurants or events in town. We have rented several properties through VRBO in different cities and this place is a real gem.Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We love the desert and the location of our casa is ideal, close to downtown Palm Springs and to a great deal of other shops and restaurants as well as tennis and golf opportunities.
