Saxon Mountain Retreat is wonderfully outfitted to fit all of your needs. From the huge curving living area to the large open kitchen and dining area, you will feel warm and welcome. Service for 20 but with space for over 30!
Your Master bedroom (with queen bed) and master bath with a two-person jetted jacuzzi, provides a beautiful and private space to relax.
Upstairs!! Two bedrooms contain either a queen bed or two twins/king. Both have a convertible sofa for your children. These rooms share a full bath.
The Lower level 'Great Room'is a wonderful area for entertainment with billiards and Direct TV. Here you have a double bed, 1 set of single bunkbeds and 1 set of double bunk beds set up to provide comfort and security. We also have 4 inflatable air beds that can be set up where ever you choose.
On the back deck "outside under the stars" is a six-person hot tub with plenty of towels to go around, but bring your suits.
For your wedding events, we are the #1 Vacation home lodging facility for the Georgetown Loop Railroad, Shadows Ranch event center, Historic Georgetown and Echo Mountain Park.
Your complete Colorado vacation starts here. We have partners in rafting, ATV riding,horse riding, climbing the 14teen'ers, tour gold mines, casinos, natural hot springs, fine eateries, mountain hiking, skiing, boarding, snowmobiles and cultural arts.

Anyone for a game of pool?
VRBO Bear stayed here - 07/21/2008 Holy bear cubs, this place is amazing! I arrived with my seven new human friends and two new canine friends at this pet-friendly mountain home and had to immediately check out every room in the house. Everything was just as the photos depicted and then some! We walked downstairs, saw the pool table, and it was all over. Game on! Between the pool table and the hot tub, I’m not sure which was the bigger hit.
The home is wonderfully decorated to make visitors feel comfortable. Even the large open areas had a cozy atmosphere. DirecTV is provided in each of the bedrooms. In the kitchen we found everything we needed to cook our meals. For those of you who like outdoor barbecues, there was a nice new grill.
If you prefer to dine out, you'll find some rustic and unique places to choose from in town. Our favorite was The Red Ram! For a great after-dinner treat, we stopped at Georgetown Valley Candy Company, where they make most of their own candy by hand.
Looking for adventure? It’s all around! Check out the hiking trails, starting with the one just outside the front door. There’s also my favorite activity - fishing! Georgetown Lake is just down the hill. Scenery abounds! All you need to do is look out the windows and right up a mountain.

At Saxon Mountain we found the PERFECT home for our active lifestyle-hiking and biking right from our front door. We especially like NOT having to live with a snow shovel in my purse. We LOVE the evening walks to see the deer, fox and other critters that abound. We know you will love our custom home and its spaciousness, warmth and many momentos from our travels!

Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us! The peaceful and quiet setting was so relaxing---we enjoyed watching the deer on the mountainside. The kids loved the hot tub and the pool table.
