Our apartment was fabulous - great location, updated or new rooms, very nice furniture, modern bathrooms with showers... It basically had every amenity you could imagine! The check-in process was smooth and easy - Rachele greeted us and gave us great information regarding restaurant recommendations and even made bookings for us. No matter the quality of the site, the solid testimonials or the thoroughness of communication beforehand, there's always some trepidation when booking an apartment through a vendor one hasn't used before. Have no fear! Views on Venice has its eye trained not only on beautiful immaculate properties, but on the quality of your stay and your general contentment. The whole experience with views on venice was professional and attentive from start to finish. All questions and concerns were dealt with both before and during our stay. The staff were extremely helpful and the apartment was a delight. Look forward to returning! Our apartment at Ca del teatro was nicely appointed and suited our family well. Exceptional service and attention. We were very impressed with your friendly and professional service. We were greeted at the water taxi stop and escorted to our apartment. The apartment was spectacular--it far exceeded our expectaions! Rachele and Valentina were so friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we had every creature comfort in the apartment, recommended outstanding restaurants, and even forewarned us of a public transit strike announced for the day of our departure, then checked on our train for us, and arranged a private water taxi so we could make it to the train station. We loved the single serve coffee maker and the welcome bottle of Italian wine! Your friendly service and outstanding staff were the simply the best! Thanks so much. The beautiful photos show you exactly what the apartment looks like. A fully appointed kitchen helps facilitate a wonderful morning breakfast or better yet a afternoon wine or prosecco break. The two larger bathrooms on the main floor make for an easy set up if you are traveling with friends as we were. What the photos don't show are your views of the terra cotta roofs through your kitchen window revealing a vibrant neighborhood. Open your bedroom window and listen to the sound of this wonderful area. We found this location to be ideal. We were far enough away from the touristy St. Mark's Square to get a true feel of what it feels to be a real Venetian. We were close to the Accademia Bridge which gave us easy access to the wonderful neighborhood of Dorsoduro. Please note that shorter stays e.g. 3/5 nights, are more expensive per night than weekly or longer stays due to the fixed costs of final cleaning, check-in etc.
Nightly rates start to decrease for stays of 8 nights and over, with longer stays (more than 2 weeks) being even better value - for stays exceeding 2 weeks.
All views on Venice rates, irrespective of length of stay, are fully inclusive of all utilities.*
- gas, electricity, bed linen, towels, final cleaning, welcome on arrival and check-in up until 7.30 p.m.** as are air-conditioning and internet access if available at your chosen apartment.
There are no hidden charges.
Rentals of over 7 nights also include a weekly bed linen and towel change during your stay.
* Telephone charges, where applicable, are extra.
**Arrivals between 7.30 p.m. and midnight incur a late arrival fee of €50, payable in cash upon arrival.
*** Please note that clients who have booked before 27th September '11 to stay at one of our apartments on or after that date will be required to pay the Venice Tourist Tax in cash (Euros) upon check-in at the apartment.
The Rental Deposit (40% of the rental) will be debited from your credit card when you finalise your booking with us, while the balance will be debited by you through our credit card payment gateway at least 20 days prior to your arrival. Note that if paying by bank transfer, an extra €20 administrative fee will be charged to each transaction (i.e. deposit and final payment).
The Security Deposit (the amount specified alongside the apartment rate) is required against any breakage or damages to the apartment or to its furniture and equipment caused by the client during the rental period. This is payable to Views on Venice upon presentation of your credit card upon arrival at the apartment prior to occupancy.
Credit card details will be automatically recorded and subsequently cancelled by Views on Venice on the day of departure should no breakage or damages to the apartment or its furniture and equipment have occurred during the rental period.
