Map & Owner's Profile
Tuscan-Inspired Modern Loft Carved Out of a Renovated Winery
Year Purchased: 2006
Why the Owner Chose Harbert
We were given a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of this very interesting development shortly after the drawings were completed. What began as raw space was transformed in six months to a modern interpretation of a Tuscan villa. We most enjoy the central location within Harbor Country, close to everything, but just a little off the beaten path.
Within walking distance of condo this community park includes new playground equipment, fishing lake, baseball diamonds, pavillion, grills as well as a dog park
Locally famous Middle Eastern Restauarant located adjacent to the Vineyard Lofts
A landmark in Harbor Country and a great bakery as well. Fresh pastries and bread made on site daily. Luisa's Cafe makes the best blueberry pancakes anywhere.
Incredible prairie and north woods inspired furniture, accessories and gifts
A beautiful 20 minute walk or five minute drive from your front door to the gorgeous Lake Michigan Beach
Owner's Map of Harbert
Both Mary and I grew up in and continue to live in the city of Chicago and while we thrive on all the city has to offer we began coming to southwest Michigan during the summers of college and continued as we began our careers. The peace and solitude that we find just a short distance from the hustle of the city re-ivigorates us with every visit. For me there is nothing better than long walks along the incredible beaches (something that I do year round) finished off with a glass of wine, good friends and a fabulous dinner somewhere along the Red Arrow Highway. Comfortable, spacious and beuatifully decorated. We enjoyed the courtyard so much our first night, we decided to take advantage of the unit, so we went out, bought groceries, grilled steaks, played games and enjoyed. Interesting to learn that Michigan is for lovers and oenophiles!! Who needs Napa or France?

Thank you for a wonderful weekend. The weather was perfect beach weather. the sunsets were beautiful. Your home was a beautiful, relaxing gathering place for parts of the Ford family from D.C., Lousiville and Chicago. We hope to have the pleasure of meeting here again.

Karen and I spent the middle of September in this lovely spacious condo for a three day weekend. It was relaxing, and just right to "Chill" or to take in area restaurants, art galleries, scenery, a farmers market (in town of Sawyer, one mile north), and antique stores (not to mention wineries). My son and girl friend also visited us, and we took them to the nearby Gullistan Restaurant- excellent middle eastern food. From Sept to June, the price is right for a weekend stay, we hope to come back soon. Clinton and Karen, Chicago Illinois

Lovely property and a short distance to the neighboring Harbor towns. We enjoyed a relaxing stay away from the hustle and bustle of work/suburban living. The Tuscany is the place to stay when visiting Harbor Country Michigan.
