Cross the Eastern Continental Divide into a world of beauty and relaxation.
Uncle Stacy's Cabin is named after my Uncle who lived here well into his golden years with my Aunt Burdell. This was our favorite vacation destination. Besides enjoying their warm fellowship, we loved the surrounding beauty and serenity. Its not often that you come across a place where you can slow down, sit in a rocking chair on the front porch and feel like your the only ones on earth.
You are invited to enjoy the simpler joys in life. Watch the sun set on the Blue Ridge Mountains. Gaze at millions of stars in the clear night sky. Find yourself holding your breath as you realize the deer at the edge of the trees have not seen you.
There are plenty of things to do like rafting on the New River, hiking, golfing, antique shopping, Barn Dances and local wineries to mention a few. The pace is slower here. You'll find friendly folks along the way that smile, wave, and are happy to show you what mountain living is all about.
We provide all the comforts of home. You need only to prepare yourself to surrender to a simpler life. Enjoy nature, breath in the crisp mountain air and quinch your thirst with spring water from the mountain not a bottle.

Linda and Russell A quick note to thank you for sharing Uncle Stacy's cabin with us over the past few days. IT WAS FANTASTIC!!!!!! Just exactly what we expected and needed. Even the weather cooperated and was so much better than a rainy/windy weekend on the coast. The Christmas tree harvest was in full swing - had a chance to visit one of the farms and see the cutting and wrapping with mesh - really interesting. After we finish a busy travel schedule during the winter months, we will be in touch about a week in the spring. Take care and again thanks for a great few days in the mountains. Larry and Fran

Dear Linda, We had a wonderful time at the cabin and wished we could have stayed longer. Two days just isn't enough time to enjoy the land and front porch. I hope we can stay again soon. Kindly, Aundrea & Michael

Dean Linda & Russell, Don & I want to let you know how much we enjoyed staying at Uncle Stacy's. It was such a nice break from the restaurant. The weather was great-even though it rained a bit the porch was covered well enough to set out and read. We liked the fact that you had nice dishes, flatware & matching glasses & plenty of pots & pans as we cooked every single meal. Even having tablecloths & a red, white & blue one to celebrate the 4th. The rhododendrons were at their peak. We enjoyed the town of Sparta & its farmer market. We would like to return. Warm regards, Don & Colleen.

It is truly a delightful cabin in a truly delightful setting. We had a wonderful time there. We look forward to visiting there again, and bringing our kids next time. We especially enjoyed the rocking chairs on the front porch, the gorgeous views, and the cozy bedroom upstairs.

Our get-away to your log cabin was great. The solitude of the cabin and the beauty of the countryside made for a great retreat. We've returned rested and relaxed.

We had a wonderful stay and our friends loved the cabin also. It was the last 3 days of a 10 day traveling vacation so we needed the peace and quiet. Sincerely, Betty
