We have a great one-bedroom condo in the Glacier Lodge & Suites that has been upgraded with carpet, slate floors, granite counters, natural wood cupboards, furniture and linens.
Glacier Lodge is located in the Upper Village across from the Chateau Whistler at the base of Blackcomb. Definitely great ski in and ski out location (and we are also close to all of the summer activities). The high-speed covered Wizard chairlift that accesses Blackcomb is less than a short block through the upper village from our condo complex (less than a 3 minute walk). If you want to use the gondolas to access Blackcomb and Whistler, there is a free shuttle bus that stops across the street for the 5 minute ride to the Village.
Our unit has a deck that overlooks the courtyard and swimming pool/ hot tub area. Glacier Lodge has a large heated outdoor pool, two (2) outdoor hot tubs and a nice exercise/workout room.
We have a warm gas fireplace for those cold nights (or just atmosphere!). Our bedroom has a king size bed and ample closet space for your ski & golf clothes. There is a comfortable queen size sofa bed in the living room. Our unit sleeps 2-4 comfortably.
Since we use our condo ourselves it equipped with all the comforts of home, TV, Stereo, VCR/DVD player, knapsack (for trips to the grocery store, shopping or packing your picnic) and a drawer full of books and games. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, toaster, blender, hand mixer, rice cooker, pots & pans, cooking staples, basic spices, etc. There are coin operated laundry facilities on each floor of the complex. There is also an ice machine on our floor.
The Upper Village has great restaurants and lounges, or - we are a pleasant 5-10 minute walk down a scenic path that leads you over a covered bridge over the river and through the trees to the village center for the shops and restaurants. The walk is great, especially after a dinner at one of Whistler’s terrific restaurants. There is a free Whistler shuttle bus that stops across the street for those who don’t want to walk to the Village. There is really no need to move your car out of the underground parking garage once you have arrived at the Glacier Lodge in Whistler.
Also, Glacier Lodge guests receive free ski and snowboard storage at Affinity Sports, the ski shop in the building on the Plaza Level (for a small fee they wax and tune too!).
We only ask 3 things: no smoking, no pets and no ski or snowboard equipment in the unit (but there is free secure equipment storage on the main floor).

Thanks very much for the great set up of your condo, both from a location and usability point of view. Handy to the lifts, great access to restaurants and very comfy. The condo as advertised was well appointed and had everything we could want. We especially liked the concierge service that the in condo building ski shop provided. Made the whole process seamless. Your recommendation for restaurants was well received, and we discovered that it is quite difficult to sample even a small portion of what is available. It was our anniversary during our stay and we found the ideal romantic gastronomic experience to make the occasion very memorable. I stayed at this condo from Feb 9 to Feb 13, 2012. I had never been to W/B for skiing before and didn't know what to expect. I have stayed in places in other resorts that say "ski in/ski out" and found that claim to sometimes be a stretch. This time, everything was as advertised and more! If I could use one word to describe my experience at this condo, it would be "DELIGHTED!". Julie went out of her way to provide much information that made the trip so memorable. Instructions and helpful hints regarding the resort over all (discount lift tickets), plus little tips such as restaurant recommendations. A very generous supply of all the basics of home, all clearly labelled. Less than a 5 minute walk from the Blackcomb base lift (while carrying skis - I timed it). Once you're on the hill the sky is the limit. My only regret is that I could only stay for 5 days. I would highly recommend this unit to any who are interested. There is a king bed in the bedroom with a pull out couch in the living room. We made great use of the hot tubs and pool after a hard day skiing. All upper and lower village attractions are a short walk away. Very comfortable, very homey. Working with Julie was fantastic.Owner response: Thanks Jeff. We stayed in this unit recently and can only say that it was one of the best units we have have ever stayed in at Whistler. The owner states that the benefit of their condo is that they use it as well so it is completely equipped. That is so true. We felt like we were actually staying there with the owners in their own condo...we had everything we needed for our stay, And this condo is in JUST the right location, a 3 minute walk to the lift in the morning, right across the street from a DELICIOUS bakery that had fresh everything each morning including tasty latte's, ad a short walk to the Village for shopping. With any luck, I'm talking availability. we will be staying in this unit whenever we go to Whistler. Couldn't have been more pleasedwith this unit and the owner's thoughtfulness for their guest.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: We are avid skiers and love sharing our condo with others who enjoy the both the mountains and the village.
Why the Owner Chose Glacier Lodge:
We chose this location for its proximity to the lift and the Chateau. We are steps away from the Blackcomb Wizard High-speed Quad Chair and close to the acton. Howeve, our building is in the upper village and is quiet at night... the very best combination!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
One of the unique features of our unit is that we use it ourselves so we know that it is set up to live in. There are more that the basic 4 plates, bowls and cups in the kitchen. You can actually cook there and have what you need... including basic spices and condiments.
We also have a good view of the pool and the hot tub so you can spot your family and friends there if you get seperated.
We are steps from the lift so we are an ideal location. Quiet but right there!
