Immaculately remodeled beach home less than two blocks to the world's most beautiful beaches! Newly furnished, fully updated, great location! This home is on the quiet West End of Panama City Beach in Laguna Beach, with public beach access at the end of the street. Only a few miles to Scenic Hwy 30-A, and the rapidly developing Pier Park (Target, Movie theaters, Panera, Ron Jon surf shop and Margaritaville just to name a few already open!) in Panama City Beach.
Enjoy cooking in the fully stocked gourmet kitchen, with a peek a boo gulf view dining porch just off of the kitchen. Upstairs features a large master bedroom and master bath with walk in shower, and one of two living rooms with TV/DVD player. Downstairs features a queen bedroom with closet, full bath, laundry, and great room that has two full size sleeper sofas and TV (perfect for the kids!). Sleeps six to eight guests total. The sleeper sofas are quality full size beds, dense foam sleepers that are extremely comfortable.
Laguna Beach has a quiet relaxed old Florida feel about it, with dedicated beaches in most areas, and several local groceries to choose from. Plenty of restaurants and attractions close by, or just enjoy a sunset stroll on the rarely-crowded beaches. Make sure to stop by the Carousel for the area's best wine collection, and a great affordable gift store. Also check out Sunnyside grill, where you can get a tasty homestyle breakfast or tasty cheeseburger for lunch. There is plenty for kids and adults alike in Panama City Beach and the 30-A area...festivals of all sorts including music, art, and wine festival, theme parks, and of course shopping at the new Pier Park.
We'll soon have an international airport in the area, making flying here for the weekend getaway even easier.

Year Purchased: 2004
I purchased this home in 2004 after moving to the Panhandle to pursue an active real estate career. It was the fixer-upper on the block, and proved to be a challenging and exciting time creating something new. Now, 5 years later, the house barely resembles its beginnings. After over a year of remodeling, it now has fully updated systems, finishes and decor, and lives much like a newer home would.
I now reside in Tennessee again, where I can be closer to my family and friends and pursue my love and involvement in live music. I love renting what once was my full time home out to wonderful people who get to enjoy relaxing beach vacations.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
I purchased this home because it was in a great location, right between the hustle and bustle of Panama City Beach, and the fun and relaxed settings of Hwy 30A (Seaside, WaterColor, Grayton Beach). Laguna Beach was quiet, and relaxed, with an eclectic mix of homes and neighbors. I was sold when I walked onto the very wide, very clean white sandy beaches on a busy holiday weekend, and while the beach was busy, it was no where near as crowded as I was used to visiting places in Destin and on 30A.
The Unique Benefits of this Beach House
Personally I enjoy coming down to the house now and knowing all of the hard work I put into seeing it look as beautiful as it does now. As I use it for a second home now, I enjoy it's proximity to the beach, which is a short walk down the street. I appreciate the calming no frills way it is laid out now, with an classy and casual look, and very comfortable setting. The back deck is one of my favorite places to cook up some dinner for friends or family visiting. There always seems to be a breeze up there, and since its right off the kitchen its so much fun to swing open the patio doors and chat while whipping up some great dinner. I love to cook, and the kitchen is made for those who do, with so many great things you don't normally find in a beach house (gas range, double door fridge, and granite countertops).
I truly enjoy getting away for the weekend to the house, and coming back relaxed, refreshed and calmed just by being at the house.
