I rented Lisa and Jay's home as a gift for my boyfriend's 30th birthday. We had everything we needed - it was right on the lake, the basement was great with the pool table, the hot tub was lovely, and there was plenty of room for everyone (there were 7 of us). Though it was too warm for skiing and too cold for swimming, we still had a blast. The property was clean and very well maintained. I have already recommended this place to friends who were thinking of a trip up to the Poconos. Lisa and Jay left plenty of directions and notes for anything and everything we might have needed, it was very helpful.

Just got back home from our first vacation trip to the Pocono Mountains. This was a wonderful relaxing vacation and the home by the lake was just what we were looking for. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking out over the lake and watching the deer come right down through the yard to visit us. We took the canoe out on the lake and even caught some fish. It was so calm and enjoyable sitting on the lake in the evenings. The property is very nice and well equipped with everything you need. It is always a bit scary renting something you have never seen but this house is just like the pictures and maybe even better than the pictures. The new hot tub is wonderful! I actually had a chance to meet the owners, Lisa and Jay and they are very nice people who were extremely accommodating. I would not hesitate to rent from these people again. Thank you for letting us enjoy your home. P.S. My husband says if you are going to fish on this lake, use top water lures because there is alot of grass under the water. Good Luck!!

The homeowner was extremely easy to work with, which was important when trying to plan a trip to the poconos from across the country. The rental property itself was perfect. The pictures don't even do it justice when you've seen it in person. The tranquil lake was picturesque, the big porch and balcony was perfect for cigars and BBQ'ing while the house was spacious, comfortable, fun and felt like home. Everyone in our party was impressed and happy with our stay and we plan to return in the future.

Rented this house for a relaxing weekend get away from the city and it exceeded my expectations. Beautiful view from the living room and great amenities, especially the private dock on the lake.

We had a wonderful week. Highlights included canoeing, fishing, paddleboats, swimming pool, swimming beach, day trips to Camelbeach Water Park and Bushkill Falls, relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the day, or playing air hockey and pool with the kids in the basement. We brought our bikes and took some nice rides. House had everything we needed, and we loved the main floor layout and the soaring glass windows.

This is our second great year in a row at the lakehouse. Each year our expectations were exceeded. Even though some winters are better than others, the house provides a vast arrangement of worthwhile entertainment. Thanks for another successful vacation.

Just spent the weekend at the house. It is true, the pictures do not do the property justice. We had twelve girls stay and everyone was comfortable. The view from the back deck is gorgeous and being able to sit right on the lake was so relaxing; the best part being that it was right in the back yard, so you can just run back into the house if needed. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need for cooking and I felt at home. I would definitely stay again and recommend the property to my family and friends.

My family (6 and a baby) and I spent a week in July '08. We had a great time, there was more than enough room, a great view of the lake from the deck, feeding ducks and geese from the dock and the fish were biting enough to keep the teenagers interested. The location was close to alot of other things to do: Bushkill Falls (beautiful), Camelbeach Water Park (good time for babies through teens and adults), the Outlets, boating/water skiing on Lake Wallenpaupack and Mt Airy Casino all witin 30 minutes. The Butlers were very accomodating as I had to make various changes with who was coming and when, never a problem. My family agrees that this was the best vacation we've had yet. My thanks to the Butlers.

The house was great and was close to everything we needed. Golf about ten min. away and thirty min. to the race track. Great weekend away for a bunch of guys.

We (f4 college friends from 25 years ago) just returned from staying at this property for a long weekend of hiking and kayaking in the Poconos. The weather was wet, windy and cold making our outdoor thrills challenging. But the property was warm, clean and dry! Great heat (individual rooom thermostats), full size washer and dryer, plenty of beds, bedrooms and elbow space. Well maintained and instructions were perfect. Would stay again.

We just returned from our vacation at your house and had a wonderful time. The house is a great size and there was ample room for all of us (4 adults and 4 children) to spread out. We also loved that the house was on the lake. It was very nice. Thank you!

This home was perfect for a weeekend getaway for 12 adults. Very roomy and spacious for everyone to just hang out when needing to relax after a day of skiing. I would recommend this place to anyone.

This place is great! A group of teachers, myself included, rented the place over winter break and had a great stay. The house is beautiful, had a great view and lives up to everything it states in the advertisement. The owners were totally helpful and all of the directions were clear and precise!

Just returned from a lovely break at your home we travelled form the UK evertything we neede was there. The photos do not do the house justice, we sat on the deck and saw a stag in the garden and also a bear wandered down the drive and along the street what an experience. Thankyou Lisa for the swift response when we encountered a small problem with one of the boats all sorted so quickly! We would definitely recommend your home to all Thanks so much again Denise Graeme and Family
