This small waterfront cottage (540 sq. ft.) is accessed via private road and sits on a park-like setting with 100 feet of private Lake Leelanau frontage. It is perfect for a couple, or a family of three.
The cottage has a cozy, up North feeling as the family room, which looks out over the property to the water, also has a stone fireplace. The galley type kitchen is well equipped for family meals and the drop-leaf table opens to seat four. Sleeping arrangements include one bedroom with double bed (sleeps two) and a "nook" which has a twin bed (sleeps one). Linens not included.
Enjoy all types of water sports from the property. If you are a paddler there is no better place to launch your canoe or kayak for a sunrise or sunset paddle down the narrows. Muted swans, beavers, Canadian geese and mink are just a few of the residents in the narrows. If you are a boater, there is a new, sturdy dock for parking your craft and the public boat launch is less than a mile away.
Enjoy a bonfire at waterside and experience the spectacular sunsets over the lake.
The cottage makes a great "base camp" from which to enjoy all of Leelanau County. You are only seven minutes from Suttons Bay and Leland, and Northport is only a 15 minute scenic dive away.
