A former Bed and Breakfast located twenty (20) easy miles from the Yampa Valley Regional Airport (HDN) in Hayden, or three (3) hours Northwest of Denver in Steamboat Springs, the Andes offers a quiet, comfortable mountain resort with unique furnishings and a congenial atmosphere.
You may rent the Andes with four (4) bedrooms plus a private sleeping loft. The Andes can accommodate ten (10) guests comfortably. Everything you need is here for you. Fully equipped kitchen, wireless high speed Internet, forty-two (42) inch Vizio flat screen TV with VCR & DVD, private hot-tub and a Weber gas grill on the deck. Two (2) of the four bedrooms are master suites and four(4)of the five sleeping rooms have TV's. One master suite upstairs is large with it's own bathroom and wall mounted electric fireplace with heat. So in total there is one king bed, 2 queen beds, two twins, and a queen futon set up as a permanent bed in five separate sleeping rooms.
A roomy yet comfortable living area will make you want to escape into a good book while sitting by the gas fire or slip into your private hot tub after a long day on the mountain. The atmosphere and furnishings of the Andes will make you feel relaxed and at home. Our 20010-2011 ski season was a record in terms of powder with over 37 feet for the season. Pool is open through Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day!
A free bus service will take you anywhere in town. This is available less than fifty (50) steps from your front door and you will be at the Gondola area in two (2) minutes. The Andes is right on the mountain and minutes to our ski area. If you are already thinking about the summer we have one of the few swimming pools on the mountain. The location is perfect!

Why the Owner Chose Herbage Townhomes
I bought this home in 2000 which was a B & B. I turned it into my home and then in 2004 we moved to Maui. We go back and forth. Steamboat Springs is a wonderful family community with a Western flavor.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
We have one of the few swimming pools on the mountain. Our property is low density and quiet. Updated in every way we feel we offer a clean and comfortable home with 5 bedrooms; two are master suites. Our location is 2 minutes on the free bus to the Gondola area. This is the base of mountain or the Gondola area. The Gondola runs summer and winter. The free bus takes you anywhere in town. This area is a 2 minute ride on the free bus or a 9 minute walk all do
This is our favorite place. Family orieted each day and clothing optional once dark. It is a beautiful venue and a must. Bring your suits summer or winter.
THis is what we locals call town. 2 miles from the mountain and all the shops, dining and the Yampa river.
Our bike/walking path follows the Yampa River all the way through town. Don't miss the one!

Aloha. I am a retired Colorado Firefighter in Routt County. My wife and I rent out our Steamboat home and go back and forth to Maui. Our Maui home is rented when we are in Steamboat. We have a lovely home right on the mountain 2 minutes on the free bus route to the Gondola area. Our property has one of the only swimming pools on the Mountain. Our home sleeps 10 and has it's own hot tub and Weber gas grill on our private deck. The living room has a new Vizio flat screen TV and our property has been updated.
