ABOUT THE PROPERTY
Your relaxing vacation begins on the first floor of this lovely Tri-Level townhome, by dipping into the beautiful and private, patio-sized pool. PLEASE NOTE, You do not share this pool with anyone but those friends and family that you brought with you!
This is a non-heated pool, but sunny Kure Beach offers lots of warm weather,and this pool is open from April to October for those warm days at the beach.
Enjoy grilling on the large stainless steel grill while enjoying a cool drink, and watching the children play in the safe, enclosed pool area. You can just sit back and relax. The children will be content, as the entertainment area sits just off the pool area with plenty of fun in store for them. We have arranged for all their needs by providing Music, DVD Player, PlayStation II, Foosball Table, and TV to keep them entertained. This recreation area also has a single bed and a Double Futon for naps or just watching TV.
The second level of this spacious duplex offers a beautifully-decorated living area with a sofa and plenty of other seating. We offer the extended cable lineup so you have plenty of choices for television viewing for all ages, from 2-102 years old. Lean back and catch a quick nap, enjoy an old movie, read a book, or just take time to catch up with family and friends. There is plenty of sitting room for everyone! We even have 4 decks,so there is always areas to sit and relax by yourself, or visit with family and friends.
The kitchen has all the modern conveniences, with stainless appliances, granite countertops, and even a smoothie maker to fix the kids a nutritious treat. The bedroom on this level has a spacious jacuzzi tub to get away for some quiet time, and soak those aching muscles.
Step out onto the patio deck and a whole new world awaits as you take in an awesome view of the ocean. Take time to sit and play a card game at the comfortable wicker table or rock in the four adirondack rockers while reading the Island newspaper.
The third level of this stunning home offers an oasis away from all the 'hustle and bustle' of life. Each spacious bedroom has its own TV and VCR for your enjoyment. The master bedroom offers a fabulous view of the Atlantic ocean with a large deck to sit and enjoy the fantastic view and stunning sunrises that this Island provides. Keep an eye out for the dolphins bobbing up and down in the surf!!!

This is the second time we have vacationed in Kure Beach in April at this duplex. It offers everything you would need to make a vacation complete and comfortable. Access to the beach is just down the street and within walking distance. The town along with Carolina Beach has anything you would want or need to complete your stay a lot within walking distance for those wanting to. The duplex is very well maintained and makes you feel comfortable staying there along with the added bonus of the pool. I would highly recommend this unit for all the extras it offers along with the location to Fort Pierce Museum to do some sightseing.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I just wrapped up my 4th stay at this rental and as the past 3 years, this year was another one for the memory books. The rental is very clean and has all the amenities you need. Many attractions are within walking distance: Kure Beach Pier, Jack Mackeral's, the beach, etc. We took the ferry to Southport Island for the 2nd time and as usual, enjoyed the shops and also a delicious lunch overlooking the Cape Fear River Basin. The owners are very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. I am looking forward to my 2014 visit to this lovely rental!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This is the fourth family vacation to Kure Beach. We've always stayed in this unit as it fits our needs perfectly. Spacious enough so everyone can have their own room and privacy and comfortable enough for us to gather together for meals, enjoy the spectacular views from the balcony and just be together in the living space. The owners are always accommodating and keep the place in good condition. They even provide bicycles which we use to explore this wonderful, quaint area. OUR FAMILY TRULY ENJOYED IT , THIS HOUSE WAS BEAUTIFUL AND HAD ALL THE GREAT THINGS YOU NEED AT THE BEACH CHAIRS , A GRILL . Greg, Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with our family. It was a real joy corresponding with you from the beginning to the end. I was very grateful for your speedy responses and willingness to help in any way you could. I was equally grateful to have arrived just as you were departing so that we could meet. You’ve certainly supplied your home with many amenities and all vacationers are appreciative of that. The furnishings are very nice and it’s decorated lovely. Although we didn’t have children you’ve certainly accommodated for them as well with all the TV’s, games, etc. For us, we all work hard and just wanted to R&R and we did plenty of that….. in a wonderfully relaxing environment!!! The ocean view was wonderful from the upper decks and we practically lived on the 2nd floor deck just outside the family room…. when we weren’t at the beach itself. Although it’s not on the beach the path is so convenient and it’s very close! I’d certainly recommend your home to friends and family coming that way!! Spent almost 6 days in Kure Beach and never ran out of things to do. This townhome was comfortable,homey and offered a great view of the ocean. Nice for sitting out and having morning coffee or evening cocktails. We had usually 10 adults staying at the house and always plenty of room and perfect accommodations. The pool was nice when the wind at the beach left us sandblasted. Perfect for cooling off on a hot day. Everything about this townhouse was well thought out and we hope to return again at some time. Thank you to the owners for having all the amenities making this townhome a great vacation place .Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The property was everything we wanted & frankly more than we expected. The amenities were perfect for our family. The guys headed to the golf course & the gals to the beach(which is literally a stone's throw) Late afternoons spent lounging around the pool. The restaurants were really good & reasonable. We had a great time & highly recommend this townhouse.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My husband and I took our 2 yr old son to Kure Beach for a week and stayed at this townhouse! We absolutely loved it! You are right across from the beach so we were able to walk to the beach everyday and walk down to the pier with our son! We felt right at home with the roomy layout and flow of this townhouse. We also had some friends and family members staying with us and there was plenty of room to sleep 8 of us and nice size bathrooms to get ready. There are two master suites, a game room downstairs, a clean pool out back, and a full kitchen where we were able to eat in all week! We loved the view of the ocean from the deck right off the family room. We also loved how there was a deck attached to every bedroom! If you are looking for a clean, roomy, close to the beach stay I would really recommend this place! My family will definitely be going back! I had no complaints!Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Rented this house for a weekend at the beach. We had 9 adults in the house and we had plenty of room! I spoke to the owner a few times before we rented and he was so friendly and helpful! The house was very clean on arrival and furnishings were great with everyone sleeping comfortably in their bed. Overall a great place that I would recommend to anyone! Hopefully we'll be able to come back next summer!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We were here as a gift from my husband for my 70th birthday! What a treat! This is a perfect spot for a great time with family. My three sons were here with their families for part of the week, and this house suit all 11 of us comfortably! We could see the ocean from the second and third floor decks. The house is decorated beautifully, and the kitchen/family room is open so that we could all visit and be together. To get to the beach, it was a short walk down the road to a public access. When they got tired of the beach, the grandkids loved the pool in back of the house. For my birthday dinner, we went to the Dock House and the food was delicious and the service excellent! It was just a perfect week! Nobody wanted to go home.....Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children.

About the owner: My wife Barbara and I purchased this home in 2005,and it is a love affair that has grown by the year. Kure Beach is more than we ever imagined it could be for our family. This is the place we go to calm our lives down,and spend time with our college age family,and their friends. Barbara and I both come from large families, (she has 6 brothers and sisters and I have 5 brothers and 6 sisters). The families are always welcome,and we cherish the times we've all spent together down here,walking the dogs,taking bike rides,barbequing with the kids friends,playing ping-pong, or just sitting on the front porch drinking coffee in the morning,betting on who will see the first Dolfin pod swimming offshore. we're loving it big-time,and looking forward to many more years with,friends,family,and hopefully grandchildren we can spoil.

Kure Beach reminds us of the small town setting we grew up,where neighbors greet each other with a hearty handshake smile,and where you can feel comfortable taking a leisurely late night stroll. Two of my closest friends purchased property here,and we knew this was going to be the place we could all get together on those special weekends.

We use this home as a way of entertaining family and friends. The 'Island Life' is a perfect way of getting away from the hectic pace that we live on a daily basis,and allows us to wind down with our family in the tranquil setting of the beach and the ocean. We often visit the many restaurants,sit by the pool sipping drinks and watching the kids play,take walks, play ping pong tournaments,Barbeque,or just visit with our college aged children and their friends that can't wait to come to the 'Baldys place.' It has become the place where we can all take time to just do the things we otherwise find it hard to do in our otherwise very active lives.
