I have stayed in the Burt guest house twice, and I can sincerely say that this us one of my favorite places in the world. I love how cozy it feels, how clean it is, and what care the owners take of the place in general. It's inpeccable. Also, the location could not be better. It is beautifully tucked away behind Calico Pizza and the Q, so it instantly provides you with 2 quality, fun restaurants (check out the happy hours- that is correct, hours, at the Q) to eat and relax. The bus stop is right there, so you can easily get to town or the village anytime. It is also located right in the bike pathway, so I have been able to easily able to stay there without a car whatsoever, and do all my commuting with bike/bus. Finally, I love the owners, they truly take care of their guests.
Owner response:We agree, our location is great! Equal distance between the town of Jackson and Teton Village, walking distance to 2 restaurants, bike path and bus stop, yet tucked back from the road and noise. Come experience our place!

We had a hectic schedule on our trip to the States and being able to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet and comfort of this wonderful Barn was just what we needed! We wish we could have stayed longer than 3 nights as the Tetons are just beautiful and the Barn is so ideally situated to explore and enjoy the local area. We recommend a trip up the mountain on the Tramway from Teton Village to breath in the cool mountain air and get a wonderful view of the valley and mountains. Also pay a visit to the Rodeo in Jackson hole - a magic experience, great fun for young and old alike! We also enjoyed spending time in the lovely Barn which is furnished with very amenity you could possibly need and we felt at home straight away. The only disappointment was not being able to meet the 2 owners who happened to be away however, we felt we knew them already from our correspondence and their kind, helpful advice when planning our trip. We thank you for letting us stay in your 'home from home'!

This has to be the most luxurious and comfortable barn we've stayed in - actually this is one of the most comfortable places we've EVER stayed in! It's spacious, beautiful, peaceful, and wonderfully fitted out, with every little detail you can imagine. Becky and Jayne are the most hospitable, welcoming and gracious hosts and like others who have stayed here, we felt like old friends almost as soon as we arrived. The Burt Barn is a perfect base for Grand Teton and Jackson Hole - close to Jackson and the Moose-Wilson Road (where we saw 5 moose one morning), an easy drive from the rest of the park, and with a nice grocery and wine store and restaurants nearby. We are birdwatchers and it was so great to be able to spot birds from the deck and from the huge picture window in the barn. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this lovely place to anyone who wants a beautiful Grand Teton base which is peaceful yet close to all the action and we certainly hope we can come back one day soon.

My family and I recently stayed four nights in this charming guest house. It was perfect. We had such a wonderful time! The owners made us feel so welcome and at home. They went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful stay in Jackson. The house is beautifully decorated and furnished. The house is impecabbly clean and has everything you need to have a comfortable home away from home stay. The location was perfect- mere minutes to town and to the park. We even had a moose wander throuth the back yard! We can't wait to go back!

This is one of the best places my husband and I have ever stayed at. We loved that it was freestanding and a bit out of town(Jackson) which made it very private and quiet. From every window there is a beautiful view of the great outdoors. There is a beautiful back deck with a BBQ and tables and chairs for relaxing. The owners live on site so if we needed anything they would be there to answer questions etc. The day we arrived there was a bottle of red wine and chocolate waiting for us in the kitchen. We were greeted with hugs by Jayne who showed us around the apartment and gave us tips on places to eat in town. When Becky(other owner)arrived home she knocked on our door to greet us as well which made us feel very special. These two ladies were so friendly and helpful that we felt like we were visting old friends. The apartment is decorated so nicely and had items that were made by Becky who is a fabulous wood worker. Every detail was thought of from the softest pillows and firmest mattresses to the yummy smelling soaps in the bathrooms. I was so sad to leave but plan on visting again very soon. Thanks ladies!!
Owner response:We look forward to meeting all our new guests and helping them explore our beautiful area. We find it helpful ourselves when we are traveling to get the 'inside local scoop' on where to go, eat and play. Thank you!

My wife and I look for places that are out of the main stream but convenient and modern. This guest house fits all of these requirements beautifully. Great views of the Tetons and close to 2 good restaurants. Very helpful owners who are close by but stay out of your way. We have stayed here twice and will likely return (if they will have us!). Peace and quiet always prevails here. Don't let the rustic exterior fool you, the guest house is very modern and clean inside. Don't tell anyone about this pad!!!
Owner response:We love having returning guests and have made some wonderful friendships along the way. We offer a discount to returning guests as well. Thank you!

My husband and I stayed here in June and had a wonderful time. The barn has everything you will need and is very comfortable. It is nicely furnished and immaculate. We liked that it was quiet, peaceful and in the woods, yet close enough to downtown Jackson. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here in June, 2010 and couldn't have been more pleased with the cleanliness and quality of the apartment. Everything described in the VRBO property guide is spot on. We were made to feel at home by the owners who live just next door. There is also a nice resturant within walking distance and a small grocery and package store just down the road, so you don't have to go into town if you don't want to. The Grand Tetons NP is about 5 miles away and the Jackson Hole Ski resort is about 4. Bike trails as well. The views of the Tetons and the meadows are fantastic! We will go back here.

One of best things about being return visitors to Jackson Hole is returning to our favorite places, the guest house at Burn Barn is one of them. The accommodations are fabulous. The guest house is well cared for, and extremely comfortable. The location is peaceful (picture Moose walking through the yard), and the location is within minutes of town, the ski resort, and Teton National Park. Becky and Jayne were wonderful hosts, and made us feel right at home. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

We stayed at the guest house from 12-19-09 till 1-1-10 and had a fabulous holiday vacation thanks to our host's knowledge of the hidden gems in the area, hospitality and generosity. The house was decorated with Christmas runners, tablecloths, etc.. They even had tree lights, tree skirt and stand ready for us upon our arrival! Our flight was late and they even went out to get our Christmas tree permit for us. Then they pointed us to where we were allowed to cut our tree, which turned out to be "the perfect Christmas tree". The guest house was charming, immaculate and extremely well equipped! We have been to Jackson in the winter before and this was very close to the slopes, yet not too far to get to town either. Really a perfect location.
