This recently remodeled spacious two-story a-frame home is perfect for large groups, family gatherings and weddings. The owner is an artist and uses it as a vacation getaway. While in residence she is continually renovating and decorating which gives it that "Cozy, Country Cottage Feeling" with all the comforts of home.
The second floor contains two sizable bedrooms with king beds, there are two large baths, one with a jacuzzi tub. The balcony overlooks the spacious downstairs living room area. Also on the first floor are the dining room and fully equipped kitchen, another full bath with tub and shower, and two bedrooms, one with a queen and one a king bed.
The two adjoining downstairs bedrooms can be rented separately for small groups of two to four.

VERY DISAPPOINTING: fair rating only because of location

The only redeeming feature of this property is its location: close to favorite beaches and easy access to main routes. The house in and out was not prepared or cleaned for us. Rugs and corners of floors had dead insects and were definitely not vacuumed or cleaned since the last people: sand in bathroom floors and bathtub, dust and grime on most surfaces, old food in cupboards and fridge, bugs dead and alive everywhere. The lanai was covered in spiders and webs and wasps had made nests here and there. Outside furniture needed cleaning before we could use it. Half of the lanai was covered by long bougainvillea vines that we had to push out of the way to use the outside chairs. We had to clean as soon as we arrived, just to be comfortable. Sure didn't want to step on a dead wasp in the middle of the night! And we were constantly spraying for ants, throughout the kitchen and across the living room rug. Much of the house is outdated, being decorated in a '60s motif. Rugs are flattened down and worn out in spots. The kitchen and laundry facilities especially need upgrading. They should throw out and buy new pans and utensils: I wouldn't even try to sell them in a garage sale! The squealing dryer needs replacing and the washing machine needs to be scrubbed, inside and out. The listing photos do not reflect its real appearance and amenities. There wasn't even a phone in the house or items one would assume would be there, such as coolers, ice packs, barbeque. The property manager said she'd return our cleaning deposit because of our complaints but hasn't followed through nor has she answered our last emails. We EMPHATICALLY do not recommend this property. Keep looking for something better!!
