Schinias is located on the East Coast of the Attica Peninsula; directly open to Aegean Sea it belongs to the Municipality of Marathon (famous since Classical Antiquity and for the Long Distance Race). Less than one hour from Athens city, this is one of the most beautiful bathing spots of Greece, with a coastal pine forest ending to fine sand and clear blue waters.
This unique beauty made of it a National Park next to the Olympic Rowing Centre. Schinias is undoubtedly an excellent destination for High Quality Vacations.

THE “MOONRAY” PRIVATE
The Villa’s ground level which features 134 square meters, offers:

- 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds.
- 2 bathrooms and laundry
- A large bright and fully equipped kitchen.
- A large living and dining area, which can host one more sleep.
- Independent entrance, 2 private verandas with splendid view, garden, garage and BBQ
- A/C, Central Heating and Fireplace
- Wi-Fi BroadBand internet, and plenty amenities of home

THE “SKY” SUITE
The Villa’s top level which features 75 square meters, offers:

- 2 bedrooms, one with double bed and one smaller single or with twins.
- 1 bathroom and laundry.
- A comfortable, bright and fully equipped kitchen.
- A comfortable living and dining area with splendid sea views.
- Independent entrance, access to the backyard garden and probably the best 50 sq.m. private veranda you have ever encountered with splendid view and own BBQ.
- A/C, Central Heating and Fireplace
- Wi-Fi BroadBand internet, and plenty amenities of home

The entrance to “Themis” community is guarded, adding extra security to an already totally friendly and safe environment.

WE TAKE CARE OF YOUR STAY
Prices include:
-Clean linens and towels once a week and maid services once a week.
-A welcome shopping list for the first morning.

-Other services e.g additional maid services, car hiring, recommendations and tickets for major events in Athens, bookings for daily cruises, full shopping lists from the Super Market etc. upon request.

PLUNGE INTO THE BLUE
The Marathon Gulf is directly open to the Aegean sea with crystal clear water. It offers a variety of choices in a distance of 2 to 10 minutes driving, or after a short walk or ride.
- Sandy beach in front of Schinias National Park. The beach is ideal for small kids. Nice traditional taverns serve fresh sea food at reasonable prices.
- Sandy beach fun clubs, just at the end of the National Park and water sports
- Rocky coast, just beneath "Themis", suitable for scuba diving, fishing, and much more.

ATHENS CITY BREAKS
An easy access to Athens, the Historical sites including Acropolis, shopping centres, at exactly 48 kilometres from the house. You can drive either to the city centre directly in less than one hour, or to a Metro connection towards central stations.

- 30 minutes from Rafina Port, through to the Aegean Islands
- 45 minutes from National roads

  • Me and my family spend two marvellous weeks of visiting ancient monuments under a burning sun, and then relaxing here in a gentle breeze. Although the terrace was the one thing we were looking forward to, the real view still astonished us, as it could easily match up to the ones from Delphi and the Acropolis (especially at night). With its clear starry sky, the bright big moon illuminating the sea and the city in the background, this view alone would have been reason enough to come here. Beside this 'expected highlight', this house offered us a few ones which we didn't expect. So although there is an air conditioner in nearly every room, we only needed them once in our two week stay, thanks to a constant and mostly gentle breeze cooling the house in a natural way. Then we found out that the kitchen even exceeded our own in a few aspects. And last but not least, the shy friendly fox sometimes appearing at the back door and craving for a bit meat or egg in a manner that you can not overlook him. Well so much to the place, now to the person. Xenophon, you were a brilliant host with your friendly, merry attitude and your well balanced English. You were there when we needed you and took care of everything but at the same time left us enough room to breath. We really appreciate your efforts, both the ones that lead to this wonderful house and the ones that made our stay such a special experience and can only say 'Thank you'.

  • Dear Xenophon, dear Rosa We did follow all the suggestions Rosa gave to us and we had a marvelous time. We saw the Acropolis and Athens fleamarket(on Sunday), Delphi, Epidaurus and Mycenae and it was all so very quiet this time of the year. We went up the spectacular Parnassus mountain to ski. We even took a quick swim in the Aegean ski. It was our first time in Ellada and we loved it. Especially the people Efcharisto and kind regards PS. Great House

SWITZERLAND There was a young man called Xenophon Who lived in a town called Marathon So much does he know Of places to go We’ve had a holiday to dwell on Clair Basel, SWITZERLAND Thank you ! for our wonderful stay from the 27th September. I personally enjoyed this vacation soo… much! It was one of the most relaxing restful but also in some ways a very exciting vacation! Being here with my family has brought so many fond memories together and will make sure that I’ll never forget this one –week Greek experience.   • Dear Xenophon 9 August 2008 I write this as I sit outside looking at the wonderful view…..it’s so peaceful here really very beautiful. It is a truly unique area, as we sit here in the August hear no noise of tourists and only a few locals on the beach! We have loved our time here with you and your wonderful family. I am just frustrated I didn’t have the chance to talk with your mother; she is a lovely lady. Of course a big thank you for your wonderful hospitality-Cole has had a great time with Nikitas- and we do hope we will see you all again in the coming years.   • Dear Xenophon The two weeks we made your sky suite our home in Greece were wonderful! The place exceeded our expectations, we settled in and felt at home immediately. The incredible terrace is the absolute highlight, and we tried to spend as much time as possible out there. Your help, care and recommendations were of great assistance from local tavernas to butchers to finding our way through the Peloponnese. We thank you for your kindness and hospitality.     Spending some time of my Summer in this great Villa of yours wasn’t only fun because fo the great weather, the beach of Schinias and Athens, it was also a grea time because of you always being kind and asking us if you are OK ,and of course because fo taking us to those cliffs were you used to dive from when you were my age. Not only those things, th cliff,diving and stuff but also your sense of humour you shared with us and always made me laugh, made this one of the best holidays ever for me.     Die Wohnung ist wunderschön eingerichtet, der Ausblick ist phantastisch, alles neu und sauber mit viel Geschmack. Der Strand mit klarem Wasser ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir erhielten eine ganz besonder aufmerksame Betreuung durch den Vermiete.
