The East End of St Johns may not be for everyone but if you want to be AWAY this house is the place to go. My wife and I plus our two children rent a Jeep when we get off the ferry, load up with food and supplies and hit the winding road to the other side of the island. The house is set up high with beautiful views of Coral Bay from a huge breeze filled backdeck. The house is spacious and clean with all the amneties needed for a beach vacation. We spent a lot of time at Vies chicken shack and her private beach, along with dining at the local Plantans, Donkey Diner and of course Skinny Legs(best burger ever) If you don't like to drive in St Johns this is the only drawback. But we took our day trips as adventures and driving on St Johns can be adventureous. But it was nice to get back after a long day at the beach, we like the peace and quiet and the stars at night and this place has that at a reasonable price. If this house was in Cruz Bay it would be twice as much! We will go back again, nice owner, nice caretaker, nice vacation.
