Very nice, many amenities, the hot tub was a great size and the house would be wonderful for a large or extended family trip.

Having come from Australia where the temp was over 100F it was a great experience. The cabin had everything you needed. The best part was the ski in ski out. Being able to ski up the the front door is worth paying more for. Having your own bathroom is a plus when staying with a number of people.

This is the second year in a row we have stayed at the Hacienda. Patrick has been very helpful, responsive and great to work with. The Hacienda is very well kept and equipped. There is plenty of room and each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is a huge plus for 19 people. The little kids and teenagers each had their own separate areas and the adults had theirs. Their is plenty of room in the kitchen for everyone for eating, cards, and games. Their is also plenty of parking available. The best part is after a long day on the slopes you can ski right to the backyard or hot tub if you want. We are looking forward to next years visit. Thanks Patrick for helping make this a great trip with my family and friends.

From the moment I booked the home online to our checkout...the service was outstanding & the home met all of our expectations. The owners were exceptionally helpful & very responsive. The 9 bedrooms with bathrooms was such a blessing for all of my family. We realy enjoyed the location - just a 3 minute walk to the slopes and we really took advantage of skiing right to the back door, for lunch-time. Great place - incredible location - wonderful owners!!!
Owner response:We really enjoyed hosting your group. I am glad that you guys were able to get in some much skiing. Have fun and see you in 2013!

We had a group of 20 people stay for a week at the Hacienda and it was absolutly one of the best places I have vacationed and skiied. The ski in/out was great and having Patrick there every day to check the hot tub and clear snow was a amazing. Nothing is better than coming in from a full day of skiing and jumping into a hot tub. If anyone is looking to come to the Breck region there is no doubt in my mind that i would recommend Patrick and the Hacienda. Top notch service and great people to work with.

I planned a ski vacation for a group of 16 in February and was lucky enough to find the Hacienda as our accomodation. Of the 16 people going there were 7 couples each of course wanting their own room, and the Hacienda was the only place I found that could accomodate that and was still suprisingly affordable. Not only did each couple get their own room, each room has its own private bathroom. The place was absolutely amazing, four floors, to large common rooms, an amazing kitchen with a seating area that resembles a small restaurant. The hot tub was enormous and fit almost our entire group at one time and this is the first place I stayed in Colorado that the hot tub was maintained every morning by the owners so that it was ready for the apres ski gathering. It is definitely ski in/ski out, but the ski in was a much easier feat as you just peel off of the terrain park and you can literally ski right up to the hot tub. The ski out was very doable but you do have to cross to roads to reach the snowflake lift which is a pain since you have to remove your board to and walk at these points, that being said we found it easier to walk up the trail to the terrain park and ski down from there. In addition to the place being incredible, it comes with 2 free lift tickets for the trip which saved us an additional 600 bucks in lift tickets. If you have a large group and are looking for the perfect place to stay ski in ski out on Breck, don't hesitate to book the Hacienda. The group absolutely loved the Hacienda and would definitely stay there again if its available.

I had a 14 person group that stayed at the High Country Hacienda in January 2011. The house was amazing and the location was very convenient to everything. We had more than enough space and the house was in impeccable condition. Patrick was extremely helpful in answering questions and was always reachable. I would definitely stay here again!

I stayed this past winter at this wonderfully decorated and well-supplied house with a group of 20 of my family and friends. We ranged in age from 6 months to 50 y/o with several college age kids. Everyone had their space (mom's, kids, etc). The great ski in location and only a short walk to ski out was perfect so that a group this large can come and go as desired. The owners were accessible, welcoming and understanding. Great to deal with owners passionate about the area and can help you out with your needs and information. My only reservation about recommending this house is that I want to rent it again next year and don't want to others to know about it. So Patrick, please keep us in mind. We will be planning our trip soon!

We recently stayed at the Hacienda for a business meeting with a group of 9. The floor plan is layed out very nicely and worked well for our needs. Patrick was very attentive and the entire booking and stay was quite enjoybale. I would highly recommend for any and all types of outings. This is an excellent property in a gorgeous setting.

Just returned from several weeks at the Hacienda. Awesome view, accommodations and comfort. We especially appreciated the large parking area for all our cars! WALKING to the Breckenridge fun park was so easy, getting on the gondola (free) and getting off here and there for a drink or just a walk through town was delightful. The hiking trails were so close we only drove a mile and there we were. One highlight was the red fox who ran through the property daily and sometimes hung out with us!! The kids enjoyed the play room and bunks. We did get lazy a few times and hired Patrick to cook up some home cooked meals for us. The catering was first class. Will come back when we can.

We love the Hacienda! It is perfectly located just off the slopes right by the base of Peak 8. Nothing quite compares to finishing your day skiing into the backyard, clicking out of your bindings, and heading straight for the hot tub! The rooms are beautifully decorated, and there's tons of sleeping space, equally divided over the 4 floors. The master and top floor great room have awesome views. This a great place for one large family, or several vacationing together. We're a big family, and it worked great for us. We especially liked the upstairs kitchen, great room and big table for group dinners. Patrick and Petra were great. Checked us in, gave great advice for restaurants in town, and were available anytime we had a question. Can't say enough about this place. I highly recommend it!!!
