We stayed in the two bedroom apartment for a weekend getaway and couldn't have been more pleased. Roomy, charming place with wooded views from the large sliding glass doors and private deck. Highly recommended!

The photos do not do this place justice. We loved this place from the moment we walked in to the seconded we left. The kitchen even thou small worked great. I cooked two full dinners one Indian one Argentina and they both turned out great. The owner was wonderful and made us fell right at home. All I can say is Thank you so much.

A Month That Went By All Too Quick

We stayed a month and found our time very enjoyable. Handy to both Grass Valley and Nevada City, we spent our days adventuring and enjoying the beautiful scenery and mild days. Side trips to the Lake Tahoe region and San Francisco were just a few hours away instead of days or crowded airports. Ted & Vanessa were excellent hosts and made the stay even nicer! Would we recommend this property to anyone planning a California stay? You betcha!

A Comfortable and Relaxing Setting

My husband and I stayed here for 2 1/2 months while house hunting in the area. The 2 bedroom apartment is spacious and very comfortable, with a beautiful and private deck. As hosts, Vanessa and Ted couldn't have been more accomodating. We had a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend it!

Our group of four stayed in Vanessa's rental apartment and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were exhibitors at the Grass Valley Draft Horse Classic and would return to the apartment late each night, exhausted but our accomodations were so comfortable that we awoke refreshed each morning. Vanessa is a very gracious host and we highly recommend her rental.

Delightful Gold Country Retreat

My husband and I needed a temporary home for 6 weeks while escrow was closing on our new Nevada City house and we couldn't have found a morepeaceful and perfect place than Vanessa's. The two bedroom apartment was very spacious and well furnished. The deck provided a great spot for viewing the sunset and we were just minutes from downtown Grass Valley. The apartment is cat friendly and our hosts, Vanessa, Ted and Megan couldn't have been more gracious and helpful. We highly recommend Vanessa's.

What a wonderful experience here in Grass Valley! Vanessa opened up her vacation home to us for 3 months while I traveled as a nurse. It was beautiful, clean, and very peaceful. I would highly recommend this vacation home. Thank you Vanessa for making us feel at home!

Vanessa's guest home was a soothing respite retreat for us when we were in midst of closing escrow on a house purchase in Nevada City. We stayed one month in her charming vintage furnished two bedroom unit. This property is situated at top of a beautifully landscaped hill that's quietly refreshing of mind, body and spirit. The private deck was especially appreciated each morning and evening. Vanessa has lovely energy that is expressed throughout this property. ~~~Marian and Steve

We stayed two nights in the comfortable, clean and well appointed studio and were very pleased with everything! We were minutes away from the historic town of Grass Valley & about 50 miles from South Lake Tahoe. While at the studio, we had privacy and the property is forested and so beautiful. Vanessa is warm and kind and made us feel welcome and at home. Thank you Vanessa!
