We offer a full kitchen with EVERYTHING you need (YES there is a blender for those frozen tropical drinks). You can also take advantage of our gas or charcoal grill by the pool! OR just walk a few short steps, on the beach to Smugglers Cove Restaurant or Breezes and have them do the work for you.
Come relax under a palm tree at our beautiful beach with views of Christiansted and Buck Island. Right off the beach is some of the best snorkling on St.Croix. Just grab your gear, kick off those flip flops, and start snorkeling!
Caribben Dreamin is surrounded by tropical landscaping. If you make the food(water and sugar)and put it in our 3 birdfeeders on the balcony the hummingbirds and bannaquits will come! Just outside the patio there's a beautiful garden area where you can sit, relax and breath in the warm Caribbean air. Previous guests have said "We don't need to pay to see the Botanical Gardens, we have our own right here!"
America's secret paradise, Saint Croix, offers numerous activities from just about ANY water sport including top ten DIVE sights to duty-free shopping to golfing to just limin under a palm tree with a book. You can also enjoy horseback riding, kayaking, sailing, deep sea fishing, surfing, sharks at Buck Island, hiking, museums, rainforrest and much more!
There's 2 grocery stores near Caribbean Dreamin. Both less than a beer or island cocktail away! (yes you can drink and drive here on St. Croix) Pueblo is about a 3 minute drive and Food Town is about a 1 minute drive.

Drive your car(on the left of course!) and explore the rest of the island. With Christiansted just a few minutes drive away you can easily check out the boardwalk, duty free shopping, great dining, nightlife and more. The West End has great beachs, restaurants and a revamped pier. Also, the Botanical Gardens, Rum Distillery, Domino Club(in the rainforest)with the beer drinking pigs and sandy point. On the North Shore you have some great beach bars, Cane Bay is a great beach for swimming, snorkling and diving. Carambola is just past Cane Bay(if your coming from the condo) they have a great restaurant, beach and golf course.
Drive around and find your own beach-their easier to find in the low season, but still possible in high season as St. Croix does not get as crowded as our sister island-St. Thomas. These are just a few reasons why renting a car even if for a couple of days is a great idea.
If you don't get a car, taxi's are plentiful to get from one place to the next. I would at least recommend doing the TanTan Tours one of the days though! They are a blast and will take you around the island!

The condo in Colony Cove was not what we expected nor what we had been accustomed to in other vbro rentals. The major issue was that the condo is dirty. The sheets had not been changed, the dishes were dirty and we had to buy our own cleaning supplies and skillets to use. After we did that, things got better, but the condo still needs work--ceiling needs to be repaired and updates needed in bathrooms (showers were filty). The pool area was WONDEFUL! The beach was pretty to look at, but NOT what we were led to believe. We ended up driving to Buckaneer Beach on the days when we wanted to swim. The condo was not in the safest location, but it was close to Christiansted. We talked to other renters at the pool and their condos were much nicer and in better shape than ours. We also had a million ants in the kitchen, so we had to be very careful about food storage. The price, however, was reasonable. There were a lot of great things about St. Croix, and we are glad we came.
Owner response:We have since fired that maid and hired a new one. The unit above ours had a leak and we had asked the property manager and maintainance manager to fix our ceilings. We sent them money for it and it still hadn't been done 6 months later. We finally hired a statesider to go down and COMPLETELY REMODEL the entire bathrooms from ceiling to floor. Our bathrooms are completely remodeled with everything brand new as of December 2010. ISLAND TIME is real and the island way is much different than stateside. Bucconeer Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on island, it is at the best (most beautiful) hotel on island, we can only dream of this beach being location on our property. As far as ants... it's an island. We have terminex come in every month plus have ant traps set up. Sometimes there are none to be found and other times they are around. You will want to keep everything in the refriderator anyway because food will get stale very quick on island.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.

My wife & I just returned from spending a beautiful week at this condo. Amenities were great, as was the unit. We found nothing to fault and everything to love! Our only complaint is that the photos of the property do not do it justice - this is what "paradise" is supposed to look like!! Smugglers Cove, a restaurant in the condo complex next door, became our "Cheers". We don't want to recommend this condo, as we want to keep it to ourselves , but we highly do! We can't wait to return!!!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+.
