The surf board( hanging on the wall)-the comfort and openness was the setting for the beginning of our trip. We stayed in August,(2011) and enjoyed sounds of music from the Carnival.. The open airy house, is a true gem. The water view is great, the comfort of the home was so relaxing, I never really wanted to leave the hammock. Sunset views from the porch and yes, even the kitchen were beautiful. the porch/outside bar/ music set up was , great and ready for the days ahead. Hope to return to Island , and would love to return to waveland...truly a great rental - (an yes I even heard some coqui frogs at night) -eveything you need is right there..... ..linda and denny reisinger, st petersburg, florida

My stays at Waveland have been fantastic. It has many beautiful views and is very well maintained and clean. The views, sunsets, sunrises, etc.......and "just life" are fabulous at Waveland. It's home away from home. Pack light - not need to bringoo much except a bathing suit and your soul (ok, toothbrush & toothpaste too). There's a lot to do and see. The Locals are more than happy to share their Island with you. Leave all of your worries behind................and enjoy Waveland and Tortola for all she has to offer.

We have stayed at Waveland several times and it is a favorite vacation spot. The home is beautifully but comfortably furnished, and works well in a large family situation, or with several couples. The view from the porch is breathtaking and the home is situated in a very nice area near several go-to spots on Tortola. The kitchen is well equipped and our family loves the house so much that we almost always cook in - even though there are several good restaurants close by. The home is exceptionally well maintained and comfortable and you can tell that the owners have put a lot of thought into each and every detail to make your vacation easy and memorable. We highly recommend this rental for a vacation that will make you sad to go home!!

The house is open, airy and really well built. Very clean and well maintained. Owners are really great people and very communicative and receptive to suggestions or requests. The photos don't do the views justice....you need to be there to really believe it. Can't wait to go back and spend time 'just doing nothing, while doing something' in Tortola.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway.
