What a great get-away! We live at the beach in SC, and really loved the beauty and peacefulness of this cabin and mountains. We will definitely be back in the fall. Hopefully with more of our family, to enjoy the foliage and apple picking. White water rafting was great fun and a thrill! The Cherokee Indian Village was also very enjoyable and educational. Riding (driving) through the National Park on Rte 441 was and adventure in itself! The cabin was very comfortable, quiet and certainly well equipped. Dave was a super host and made us feel so welcome. Thank you to everyone for making our retreat so pleasant! See you in the fall!

We had a wonderful stay! This was our first trip to the mountains and there was so much to do – rafting, hiking, tubing, horseback riding. It was so nice to come back to the cabin and relax; much better then a hotel. Thanks for the goodies Dave :) we hope to return again.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here at Lacey Lodge – the quietness, privacy and all the amenities of home were just what we needed. The cabin is so close to everything we were looking for – hiking, casino, kayaking & Bryson City’s fireworks. And our dogs really loved being here with us. Thank you so much,

What a warm and welcoming retreat! This placed offered such hospitality, we felt like we were still home. Everything that was needed was provided, beds television, dishes, chairs, tables, a refrigerator and microwave. And what a breath-taking view! Beautiful horses roaming around atop a large and spacious hill. But beware the blackberry bush! It may bare large bountiful fruit but it’s not worth having all those thorns stuck in your skin. Everything was so wonderful we are hopefully going to come back.

Happy Easter! This has been a wonderful conclusion to our spring break. Arrived Thursday late afternoon – ate at “Grandma’s” in Cherokee and toured Harrah’s Casino. Friday we took a drive to Franklin and got some great pictures of waterfalls and had fun climbing on the rocks. Lunched at an outdoor café then went on a horseback ride In Fontana. We’re heading out today for Chimney Rock. Lacey Lodge has been a terrific treat to come “home” to after our fun adventers. Jasmine (our dog) loved her new friends; Sperit, Blacky and Silver. Caleb, 12, has had a great time here & enjoyed the satalite TV and making S’mores at the fire pit. Dad 86, made himself at home on the comfortable front porch. W/ great views. Where else can a family so diverse in age & interest go and expect everyone to have a fantastic experience? Thanks for a great stay!
