Mountainside Condominiums
Mountain Side is the most valued condominium complex in Frisco. It offers 3 outdoor oversized hot tubs, 1 indoor hottub and a comfortably warm indoor pool. The renovated clubhouse also offers sauna and steam, full locker rooms, racquetball and tennis courts.
Mountainside Condominiums lie immediately adjacent (1 min walk) to the Rocky Mountain National Forest and the famous recreational trail connecting Vail and Breckenridge. Within a 5 minute walk lies Frisco's postcard perfect famous Main Street restaurants (family fun to fine dining) and shops (resale to designer) festively trimmed in the decor of the season. Frisco's Marina is a nearby 10-15 minute walk and offers access to gorgeous Lake Dillon with abundant fishing and boating activities. Huge outlet shopping is available in Silverthorne and Dillon which is quick 5 minute drive or a wonderful bike ride around Lake Dillon.
From Frisco's most centrally located position in Summit County, you will have the most centralized access to 6 major ski resorts: Araphaoe Basin (15 miles, steeps and new bowls!), Loveland Pass (12 miles, highest altitude), Keystone (11 miles, my favorite and my new condo home is available for renting too), Copper Mountain (7 miles, highly recommended), and last but not least, world famous Vail (30 minute drive) and Breckenridge (15 minute drive).
How to get around:
Shuttle it: Free, reliable and frequent, the Summit County Shuttle system (aka "Summit Stage") is a favorite of locals and travelers alike. Nearest pick up is on Main Street about 4 blocks away, and with equipment is a 10-15 min walk.
Numerous reasonable Airport Transportaion services available from Denver and will drop you directly in front of Mountain Side Condo's Building C (google: "Colorado Mountain Express"). Consider carpoolilng as there are hundreds of people traveling up to Summit County every day (google eRideShare), and then use the free local shuttle (Summit Express)once you get here.
Renting a car is probably more convenient and more costly. Be sure to ask about snow tires, 4 wheel drive, and ample room for long skis.
Discounted Ski Lift Tickets
Upon request, owner is happy to supply discounted lift tickets to all resorts (supplies limited, first come, first serve) as well as coupons for fun, food and sport. We also host several parties during the year, and your invited! This owner wants you to have a wonderful vacation experience, so you will join those who return season after season. |
Pet Friendly: Leash laws and picking up poop laws are strict up here in Summit County, especially for short term renters. Poop bags abound around the condominium complex for your use (and are free). I haven’t had a problem yet, but I know of other homeowners who have, reprimands from the HOA etc. Police will ticket if they see you walking your dog without a leash.
Other rules: No pets (and yes, not even mine) are allowed on any furniture at any time. All pets should be free of fleas and illness (my dogs have never had fleas, and I have never seen one in the Property). No barkers, wetters, snappers, biters, scratchers, furniture clawers, and no problems with children, other people or animals.
If there is a complaint, pet would have to vacate premise immediately, and you would forfeit the Pet Deposit. Sorry no exceptions.
