We love the location of our home. It feels as if it is in a serene Oasis far from the hustle and bustle of city life, yet it is close (2 miles) to downtown with restaurants, shopping, and beaches. We love to hike. Many hiking trails are a stones throw away! World class biking, running, and walking outside the front door.

There is Santa Barbara's raw natural beauty as far as the eye can see. Viewing all kinds of wildlife is amazing. We are visited regularly by deer, bunnies, and distant howls of coyotes. Bird watching over the canyon is spectacular. Hawks, Eagles, Owls, and even para gliders are a common experience.
Miles of hiking, biking, and horse trails. Famous for the many hang gliders landing in this park. Beautiful scenery and wildflowers.
World famous road for spectacular mountain, ocean, and island views. Gently rolling terrain allows for perfect jogging, walking and biking.

We are the Morison Family. We have 3 children ages 12,10,and 8. We built our home with the love of Santa Barbara Spanish style and the love of the out doors. We love hiking, biking, traveling, and all kinds of sports. We spend a lot of time at our Lake house on Lake Nacimiento. Wake boarding and water skiing fill our summer days!

My husband, daughter and I spent a week here and it was exactly as advertised. Wonderful views, lovely house and property. We enjoyed the jacuzzi, outdoor kitchen, fire pit and ping pong table. Our daughter loved the cute bunnies that came out to munch grass (we counted 9 at one point, some very small) and especially the black and white 'Bunny' in the back. He was very sweet. We also enjoyed playing tennis and hiking. The weather was perfect! Santa Barbara was so pretty with all the flowers in bloom. The beach was very nice for evening walks. The house is close to everything. Thanks Jill!

We had such a great girls trip! The house and gardens are absolutly beautiful! We had so much fun drinking wine and relaxing together at this fabulous property! We spent lots of time in the jacuzzi, soaking in the amazing view, and sitting around the bonfire roasting marshmallows. We rekindled our friendships from years past. We had many plans to go see and do, but found it hard to leave the tranquility. We ended up only leaving to go to the grocery store. Our girls getaway left us refreshed and renewed. A must for every friendship! Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven!

Every year my girlfriends and I spend a long weekend together and leave our husbands and kids at home. This year we chose to spend our time together in Santa Barbara. This was the best decision ever!! The Morison's home was absolutely the perfect place for us! We felt as if we were at our own personal spa! The house was beautiful and very comfortable. We spent lots of time in the spa and just lounging around the outdoor gardens. We enjoyed miles of trail hikes just across the street and the tennis courts at the end of the street. The thousands of stars at night by the fire pit made for a perfect ending to each day! We are planning our annual girls trip to this beautiful property again next year!!

From the moment we arrived my family and I felt as if we had found serenity. Fresh flowers and our family name on the welcome board made us feel at a home we never wanted to leave. The breathtaking view and beautiful home made for the perfect location for our family to spend some quality time together reconnecting. We spent lots of our time playing games of badmitton and croquet and cooking in the outdoor kitchen. Later we'd soak in the jacuzzi and sit next to a wonderful fire in one of the 2 outdoor fire places. The property is the perfect place for a family, offering endless activities for the kids and a tranquil environment for adults. We cant wait to come visit again!
