This is a great house! The location is walking distance to downtown, the house is very clean, the internet speed is fast, the courtyard is handy when you have little kids, the pictures are accurate, and Carolyn is a notably good host. We stayed a week with our 2 and 4 year old children and everyone had fun. We even forgot to pack an iPhone charger and Carolyn lent us hers for a few days. That’s service!

Beautifully furnished and immaculate house. Peaceful and fully stocked with all the amenities like a luxury hotel. Wonderful bathrooms. A treat to stay here for a wonderful respite from reality. Nice walking distance into the village. Would definitely return for future trips to Carmel.

We just returned from a wonderful week of vacation in Carmel. This was one of our best vacations ever. This house is one short block from the main street (Ocean Avenue) and close to everything. The neighborhood is quiet and charming and the house freshly painted and beautifully landscaped. The owner met us when we arrived to show us around the house and then left her cell phone number with us with instructions for us to call her for anything. The house has two bedrooms and two bathrooms which was perfect for our family of four. Towels and sheets were new and high-end. The beds were very comfortable. The master walk-in shower was awesome. The kitchen was furnished with every gadget, utensil, and appliance imaginable. The house was very clean.There is a full size washer and dryer that we used a lot allowing us to pack lightly for the trip. We enjoyed sitting by the fireplace in the mornings drinking coffee and planning our day's activities. We visited Big Sur, Monterey, Santa Cruz, and Pebble Beach, and spent a lot of time just walking around Carmel. The grocery store and restaurants are close. We enjoyed walking over to the old outdoor Forest Theater in the evening to watch movies at sunset. There were no problems at all in working with the owner. It is evident that she goes way out of her way to make renting her house a pleasant experience. We can't wait to go back.

Wonderful Carmel Bungalow

This lovely home is bright and cheery, immaculately clean and well appointed, with comfy beds, lovely towels and linens. The kitchen is well stocked with all necessities. Upon our arrival, the owner greeted us with small rose plants as gifts … it was Mother’s Day Weekend and we were celebrating with a Carmel getaway. The house is a delightful walk to downtown Carmel, is on a quiet street and a charming neighborhood. We would stay there again!

Great location for a relaxing Carmel vacation

We had a great time staying at this house in Carmel during our long vacation weekend. The house is very bright and inviting, and the sofas were extremely comfortable. We cooked several meals at home and sampled some of the more popular restaurants in Carmel, a very nice blend compared to only eating out. The place had everything we needed to prepare a nice meal. We watched several movies while we were there, which was the perfect end to a day of fun and sun at the Carmel beach, Pebble Beach golf course, and local shops. We frequented the various coffee shops in Carmel during the morning hours. The neighborhood is hilly, but we used it as a good excuse to get some exercise. Downtown Carmel is within walking distance, and we enjoyed the quiet, nature-oriented neighborhood and the forest/hiking trail that is just at the end of the street. If you're looking to get away from the city and just relax, this is a perfect place to do just that. Carolyn was extremely nice and the logistics of the stay were very simple.
