| La Grange is a 16th century barn which has been transformed into a tranquil, private country home in southwestern France!
It is a romantic get-away with two bedrooms, two baths, tile floors, old stone walls, an enormous stone fireplace, and towering French doors in the living room, leading to the patio and garden. A fully-equipped kitchen opens to the large dining area and living room, and houses the washer and dryer.
The master bedroom is upstairs with a king bed, large bathtub, toilet, and countryside views. A library is adjacent to the master bedroom and both overlook the living room. The second bedroom is downstairs with a double bed and bathroom with shower. All rooms are furnished with French country antiques. Satellite television and stereo with a CD collection are provided.
The garden is bursting with roses, hydrangeas. an apple tree and a hazelnut tree. Dining al fresco at the table under the Catalpa tree is delightful, and privacy is provided by a wall of greenery surrounding the property.
Activities are plentiful in the area. A tennis court is across the street, two swimming pools and golf courses are nearby, horseback riding, hiking, bicycling, and numerous brocantes (antique shops) are all close. The famous market in Riberac (approximately 15km) is on Friday mornings; the market in St. Astier (5km) is on Thursday morning.
