The family and I (hubby and two kids) had a great time here in August, 2011. It was so fun and enjoyable to have some good family fun without the complications of life at home. It was the perfect blend of a camping-like experience with the comforts of home. The cabins are nicely done with all the basic amenities that you would expect. Shower was nice and hot and the dishes were plentiful for cooking on the stovetop. There is a nice area for grilling and a monster firepit for all to enjoy. The lake is wonderful and calm and the floating pier was lots of fun to jump off of! All in all, a wonderful time for our family. The game room and outdoor activities were an added bonus and the kids just loved running around the grounds. I highly recommend this spot for good, clean family fun! Owner was easy to work with and I think it will just get better and better as they finish the property improvements! Almost forgot, awesome spot for taking the bikes. Went into Minocqua with the kids by bike and so many more surrounding trails for the adventurous!

We just returned from a wonderful, week-long stay at the Blue Lake Pines. We may have been the very first to stay in the brand new Clear Water Cottage and it was fantastic! We were nestled among the pine trees where it was very quiet and secluded and we still had a great view of the lake. The fishing was great and the boats onsite made it very easy to get out onto the water anytime our hearts desired. A few things needed to be finished in the cabin but judging by the looks of it so far, the owners know what they are doing and even not completely done, it was perfect for us. Very modern, yet cozy, and had many modern amenities. Even when it was extremely hot, or raining, we kept cool and entertained with AC, Direct-TV, and a full kitchen. I may be on a vacation "high", but I can't say enough good things about our experience! Thanks Tim!
