Hi, I very much enjoyed our stay at the Villa and Jamaica. The villa is very nice and comfortable. I loved my bedroom, the kids loved the pool and we enjoyed the back deck every evening. We always felt safe and secure. But what I enjoyed the most was your staff all three ladies were great! They are wonderful women who truly made the Villa a home away from home. I can't say enough good about all three ladies! Some feed back I would have is; *your back deck is very slippery when wet, not sure what you could do about that without changing it but my concern is someone getting hurt as several of use nearly fell a few times. *upgrading your outdoor furniture as it is not the most comfortable. *The security gaurd, as nice as he is, should be reminded that guests want privacy and he should not be in the back patio area when guests are outside. *While walking back and forth to the beach we were talking and laughing on how nice it would be to have a little golf cart to take back and forth. Over all I loved my stay and have already recommended it to others and passed on the information. So don't be surprised if we provide you buisness.

We of course had an excellent stay in your villa.. it is very well kept and is well located and easy to find :-) your staff was very gracious to us and helpfull, we enjoyed their company and help they gave us.. the house was well kept and clean, we wanted some laundry done, it was al washed and the cook was excellent :-) as you must know, the weather was not too too good (wind and overcast skies) so we did not use the pool too much, the water being cold.. Thanks for everything, it's definitely an adress I will keep and recommend to anyone I know who's travelling to Jamaica :-)

Thanks for arranging our stay our Wynfield Villa I've written a few comments below for your ref:- Property - On arrival at Wynfield, our group was a little dissapointed as the property itself and funiture inside seemed a little dated compared to the photographs we had seen before hand, its seemed as if it needed to be updated and the photos displayed on the website gave us an impresion of it being quite luxurious, which it wasnt. showers and toilets were faulty and the pool area could do with some improvements, the pool man did a great job cleaning the pool - but the surrounding floor area could do with some maintenance, no unbrellas as per pictures, radio did not work etc...However, once the sun shone the next day and we met all of the staff we felt in better spirits and conituned on to have a great holiday. Location - Location was good - away from the hutle and bustle of town but near enough to pop back and forth as we wished, our group felt safe in this location and the overnight security was comforting also. Staff - as I'm sure every guest would agree, all of the staff were fantastic! made us feel welcome, was eager to cater to our needs, very friendly, curteous and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We would come back to Wynfield Villa, our expections wont be as high so we'll know exactly what to expect, and to be honest - the staff really made all the difference. We do hope to return some time next year and will keep you posted on our arrangements. Thanks again Regards Bernice

I just wanted to thank you for allowing us to stay at the Wynfield. It was a great experience for us. The house is very comfortable and relaxing. The staff, Ms. Winsome, Ms. Valerie and Livia were absolutely fabulous!! I also appreciate your help in trying to get us online. We look forward to returning!

hope that you're well and are enjoying the last few weeks of summer. This is just a quick note to say how impressed we were with your villa and staff. The whole experience of staying at Wynfield was fantastic. Everything was as stated on your website and there were no horrible suprises! All of your staff were hardworking and very professional and made our stay perfect. I'll be writing a review for the holiday rental website which I found the villa on. Once I've written it I'll forward you a copy. Despite the error of the transport service we arrived at the airport with 30mins to spare! and we were lucky enough to be upgraded to club class, so the standard of accommodation we got used to at the villa followed us all the way back to Gatwick!

Sorry it took so long to get back with you; I did want to tell you my family had a great time; we loved the "homelife" experience, and would definitely do it again at your house in Ocho Rios! The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. The location is good for Ocho Rios, close to many things. The house itself was very comfortable, spacious, and well maintained. The kids also felt at home. Thanks so much for everything. I must say we were skeptical renting a place we never saw, finding it on the internet, but the whole process went very smooth. Thank you for making the whole Jamaica experience a joy.

I would just like to say what a fabulous time we had at wynfield.The staff where outstanding and the villa and grounds where more than we expected. Apart from the weather and the cricket result! everything else was wonderful. Just one bit of negative feedback concerning the hordes of dogs on the estate,we are both dog lovers but the constant barking of a night kept us awake and became quite unbearable,not your fault of course,but i would hate this to keep away any returning guests as we had heard that it is a common complaint. All in all we had a superb holiday and will recommend your villa to all. thanks for a great time Paul & Jo

We wish to thank the wonderful staff, Ms. Winsome, Ms. Valerie, and Ms. Livia for making our vacation so wonderful. They are so kind and sweet. To be greeted each morning by their beautiful smiles was such a treat! They made us feel so welcome and at home it was so sad saying good-bye! Ricky the night security was so much fun we played cards together the last couple of evenings and truly had a blast! The kids really enjoyed getting to know these new friends, and their accents and infectious laughs always made us laugh. The Villa was so homey. It was always so well kept I couldn't believe the 5 of us actually stayed there day to day! The meals were catered to our taste, and we were treated to the island dishes as well. We were so glad that Winsome, Valerie and Livia joined us for a couple of meals, they truly are wonderful friends now and we do miss them. Ms. Winsome was amazing and very helpful, she arranged Dennis a local driver whom we used each time we went out. Dennis as well became a very good friend to us. Ms. Winsome also had the pool light fixed quickly as we had been looking forward to swimming in the pool at night. The Villa experience was definately worthwhile, not only did we have a great relaxing fun vacation but we made some wonderful new friends. As we were there in early December the staff had decorated the Villa with lights and tinsel, it was strange but cool being in the heat during the Christmas season. We come from -30 winters, and lots of snow! Our thanks to all the wonderful staff that made our vacation the best ever! The Vandenakker family December 2008

Villa: Simply gorgeous! It had everything we needed and more, was very spacious and well presented. The beds were very comfortable, if a little high!! The only negative thing we have to say is that downsatirs would benefit from air conditioning as the fans, when on the fastest speed can be too loud. Staff: Again, simply fabulous! For Winsome and Valerie, nothing was too much trouble and Livia always helped entertaining our son, Zachary. In fact, they were all very good with him including Peter and Paul. They achieved the right level and type of service for us and created a real family atmosphere. Location: What's not to like? A secure villa in a spacious extate with a nearby white sandy beach and turquoise sea!! Overall, this was a fantastic trip for us and we will definitely return to Jamaica. There is so much to do, the Jamaicans are incredibly friendly and the weather is perfect. Finally, when we do return, we will use your company again to find us another perfect villa. Firstly, I must express my humble apology for not writing sooner. We spent the most amazing time at Wynfield villa and were impressed with the quality and standard of the facilities.The staff were absolutely wonderful and sought to meet our needs in every possible way given our strange routines at times. The airconditioning contractors were not a problem especially to me being from Grenada I have a perfect understanding of "west indian time" I think the only thing which posed a few challenges for us was the food menu. Having stayed mainly in hotels in the past, we found it difficult choosing what to have for breakfast, dinner etc until we left it all up to the staff. Finally, we would definitely use Wynfield again and also recommend it to others who are thinking of visiting Jamaica. We had a great time and my nephew and I even got to see the Reggae boys play live at Kingston stadium. Please say a special thank you to Winsome,Valerie and especially Patsy who touched all of our hearts during our stay. Also not forgetting Peter who kept the garden so beautifully Hoping to return soon.

I was extremely happy with the level of service received this time round. The villa staff, go beyond what is required of them and I respect them for that. Their concern for the guests (well…me anyway) seems very real, there was an occasion where Winsome and Peter came looking down on the beach for me as it was getting late and they were genuinely concerned. Patsy does a great job and it was actually good to see that the staff now have uniforms, I don’t think they were in place the last time I was there, not only does it look professional it also signifies when they have clocked off for the day. The cook was always willing to do what we asked for; although she is very quiet with not quite the same energy as her predecessor I have absolutely no complaints. It does seem that the Jamaican way of cooking is with a tendency to fry, but I think that if I should stay there again, (which I sincerely hope to do) they will know that I like my food steamed, but with the occasional fried meal. My last night was a feast of steamed fish which Monica cooked to perfection! I have already mentioned some of the new touches you have around the villa, I had noticed the new fridge and cooker (they are new right?) anyway…..MUCH Better. Hmm… liking the toaster too, my only criticism about that is either a small notice above the toaster or even a verbal pre-warning that if you do feel for a cup of coffee and a slice of toast, then do not put the kettle and the toaster on at the same time. I did this and the electric short fused, which meant that the electrician had to be called out; this could’ve been avoided if I were told beforehand. I just love the new furniture in the living room the large sofa being my favourite, in fact I really do want one of those sofas it has very good depth and fits me perfectly. I felt so much better knowing that my valuables were tucked away safely in the safe! Huge thanks for that. Although I do trust the villa staff it still gives you peace of mind. When I get up in the morning one of the first things I do is to open the doors out onto the balcony, it really is very nice up there and you can say hi to the neighbours or passers by. It would be so much better if there was some furniture out there so that you could actually relax properly rather than just leaning over the fence. The hammocks are great; I sampled at great length every single one of them ?

Nightmare in Ocho Rios Mammee Bay

Words do not accurately desribe our visit to this property - it was a nightmare and a runied vacation for our family. We had NO FRIDGE for 4 days - we filled drawers with ice to keep items cool. Kitchen was bug ridden and falling apart. Toilet in one bathroom not functional for first three days. WATER MAIN BROKE and we were without water for a day. For seven people HOT WATER was non existent after the first shower. TOWELS which were supposed to be provided were used the first day, and were in a constant state of trying to dry on a line after that. Tough - considering they were often hanging in the afternoon rain shower. We did not have clean towels generally after the first day. Beds were twins pushed together and extremely uncomfortable. There were no blankets on the beds, only a thin sheet. With AC on at night we were freezing, and without AC you were eaten alive by bugs. HORRIBLE BARKING DOGS ALL NIGHT LONG from property across the street. Appliances generally did not function. Coffee maker made two cups before leaking remainder of water on counter during brewing. We could not "toast" the breaad in the toaster, oven was horribly rusted and dirty and could not work without match lighting. Generally a poorly equipped kitchen. Cupboard knob came of in my hand when tring to open - bugs on glasses inside. Grill had grates so large grilled food fell into coals. Not enough seating for our party of 7 anywhere to be together. Moth balls in every drawer making clothing stink. Extra Toilet Paper was locked away. When one bath ran out we had to borrow from another until housekeeper returned the next day. Cook and housekeeper were extremelely kind but claerly could not cook anything that wasn't highly overcooked and dry, or cooked in Wesson Oil. We did enjoy a cake made by the cook. We went out often to try to get away from the "villa" and the problems there and the food being served. To be fair the pool was great for the kids. I did not see that it was ever cleaned while we were there but we paid for a pool man/gardener that I saw twice. Our night guard was very good and tried one evening to walk over and talk to neighbors about their dogs. It did no good but he tried. Once home we addressed all of these problems with the rental agents and were offered $85 in refund -an insult for the conditions we endured and the amount paid for the villa. They "really appreciated all of our feedback" so they could try to make things better for the next guests. I sincerely hope you look further for your vacation needs as this is NOT a spot we would reccomend!
