Jay Vista is a brand new entry to the vacation rental market. This 3 bedroom mountain chalet close to Jay Peak Resort was formerly the vacation home for a Quebec family and not rented out but fortunately the new owners are offering this lovely vacation chalet for visitor lodging.

With incredible views of the ski slopes of Jay Peak Resort, Jay Vista sits on an acre of land outside the village of Jay and is about a six minute drive to the resort. It offers seclusion and privacy, yet still, is only 2 miles from dining and entertainmnet in Jay Village, swimming holes, superb skiing and snowboarding at Jay Peak Resort in winter or golf in the summer.

In winter, visitors relax in front of a wood stove looking out at the surrounding beauty of a winter wonderland. There is of course central heating so everyone is warm and cozy but if not participating in all of the many winter sports and activities that make the Jay Peak area such a fun place to be from mid Novermber through April, guests can enjoy high speed internet access, satellite TV, a DVD player, board games and a well stocked library There is also a new ping pong table on the premises.

Jay Vista sleeps up to 11 persons. Its open style living/dining room floor plan is ideal for family reunions and get-togethers with friends enjoying a winter vacation in northern Vermont.

  • Wood Stove: A wood stove in the living room brings home the feel of our winter wonderland. Wood is provided but guests are kindly asked to refill the bin beside the stove from the stacked wood outside the basement if using the wood stove.

  • Wheelchair Accessible (may have limitations): There are two small steps up to the front door and then someone in a wheelchair would be able to navigate inside the home. Keep in mind there are carpeted areas.
  • Kid Friendly: Lots of games, videos, books etc at the chalet along with playground equipment (doll house and slide) in the garden
  • Smoking Allowed: Permitted on outside balcony area only.
  • Smoking Not Allowed: Smoking is not permitted inside the property. There is a penalty fee of $200 for violation of this policy which results in the need for professional cleaning of the upholstery and carpets.
