We enjoyed our stay, particularly the water off the kitchen/living room area. The ducks were quite friendly. Convenient location as we had business both in New Orleans & Miss.

We enjoyed the condo and found it located great for exploring the area. It was everything advertised. The property was clean and had everything we needed. We spent time in the French Quarter, Swamp tours, cemetery tours,explored the lower ninth ward and the still visible damage from Katrina, a day at the beach in Gulfport and a day at the WW2 museum. We enjoyed the cuisine but also were happy eating back at the condo. We will be back and would recommend others to stay in Slidell.

Great alternative to downtown NOLA

Came to NOLA to watch the Sugarbowl. Our University of Louisville Cardinals won, so that was the icing on the cake. Found this terrific condo in Slidell, which was a great alternative to crazy New Orleans - and much more reasonably priced. Condo was VERY well appointed, especially the kitchen. There were only 4 bath towels and we had 2 couples staying, so we bought a few more at Wal-Mart. We didn't cook any dinners, but access to a grill would also be nice. I only have a few minor complaints. The noise from I-10 was very loud, but I should have google mapped it, my fault. We did have minor troubles with the HVAC system - we set the thermostat to 70 when we got there, left for dinner, came back and it was 85 degrees in there. My Mr-fix-it-husband was able to fix it. Last thing would be the LR TV. Screen was yellow as if the picture had been burned into it. Other than that, we all had plenty of room and privacy when needed. Will recommend to friends!

It was a perfect location for 2 couples wanting to enjoy the North Shore Area. Excellent view from the 2nd floor deck of a canal leading into the Lake so we got to enjoy morning coffee and evening cocktails watching the boats head out to the lake. Easy access to highway, restaurants and other towns on North Shore. Simple 25 minute drive to NewOrleans.

Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

BA beautiful condo. Reservations were hassel-free and very easy and fast to make. Val was friendly and I felt like I knew him after just talking on the phone. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to stay in a place that feels like home.

My family stayed here for a week to visit some nearby family. It was a great place for us to feel like we were on an actual vacation instead of JUST a family visit (does that sound terrible?) The location is great. It's very easy to get into the city, Slidell has everything you need, including good dining and it's also close to things like swamp tours. The place was equipped with everything we needed to cook our own meals and wash our clothes, and the furniture was comfortable and high quality! The only problem we encountered was that we have small children who like to wake up early, so we got a complaint from the downstairs neighbor about noise. It did not end up being a huge problem since we spent a lot of our days out and about, but it is something to consider. The other neighbors were very welcoming and friendly. We fully intend to stay here again when we visit our family nearby.

This condo worked great for us, including our dog, as we visited family and did a little fishing. It was very comfortable and great location on the water in Slidell. Wonderful king size bed in master.

Our stay in the waterfront condo was great. We were a little anxious about renting a condo online, but Val was very prompt in answering all our questions and very professional. The condo was very clean and comfortable. Quiet neighbors and a close commute to New Orleans. We can not wait to come and visit again!

Rarely does a condo match the glowing description in the ad but in this case it did. Great location, no problem parking our Navigator, clean and well appointed furnishings and lots of technical excellence. The hi speed wi-fi was great and much faster than I expected and the additional appliances made it easy to function. The most pleasant surprise was the TV. Not only was the big screen a pleasure to watch but there were movie channel readily available along with all my favorite stations. The big surprise was that there was an HD-DVR recorder that allowed me to program shows that I might have missed otherwise. We had two great meals at the nearby Phil's Marina Cafe and I highly recommend it to any seafood lover.

This was a wonderful condo with the best location! The deck is so relaxing to watch the boats and the ducks go by. Lots of wonderful touches like games for families to play really make this a home away from home. I will not stay in a hotel in the New Orleans area again!

Very seldom you get to stay at a property like this where the picture on the website is equal to the actual place. In this case, the condo was everything that I expected from the website and more. We absolutely loved the location and plan to take you up on the 10% repeat business. We'll be back.

This was a GREAT place to stay. The condo was clean and very comfortable. Everything you would ever need was there. Beds are very comfortable. Kitchen is well- stocked with nice pots, pans, appliances, dishes, etc. Lovely setting to come home to after visiting New Orleans. Very comfortable for a family.

Mardi Gras was wonderful. We used the opportunity to visit our son at UNO meet his friends and enjoy big food all over town. The Slidell condo is an oasis set on a serene waterway mins to I-10 and busy downtown New Orleans . Walk to the marina cafe and enjoy a great meal or grill on your own deck. Don't forget to visit the Abita Brewery in Abita Springs. This was our second stay at the condo and I feel like it is our home away from home. Thanks Val and Renee.

We just had our 5th stay over the past year at this wonderful condo. I am a "hometown" girl born and raised in Slidell, and this place is just perfect. Extremely easy access to the Interstate and a quick trip to New Orleans for a morning at Cafe Du Monde. The condo is beautifully furnished and sits on a quiet canal where we have spent a few nights cooking out on the awesome grill and having cocktails. Every need is met here, as if you were home. I can't say enough about the place. I would be happy to refer!

We spent Christmas in the Slidell condo and it was just wonderful! It is in a beautiful location. We enjoyed watching the boats on the canal decortated in Christmas lights in the warm weather. We were able to easiliy get into new orleans as well as Biloxi Mississippi for some great day excursions. The Condo was comfortable and very well maintained. Our deposit was mailed back to us a week later. We want to recommend this condo in Slidell to whomever wants an economical place to stay in a beautiful area with the comforts of your own home.

We got married on October 12, 2008 and at first decided to spend a few days pretending to be tourist in New Orleans. Then, we decided that peace and quiet would probably be best. I ran across Renee and Val's website (so happy I did)and talked it over with the future husband and the only thing he was interested in was fishing. So, we stayed at Marina Breeze for 3 days and 4 nights and we really had a blast. The restaurants in the area are absolutely amazing. I am truly thankful for Renee and Val making my honeymoon one that I will never forget. Oh yeah, we didn't catch any fish!!! lol Thanks for everything!!!

What can we say that has not already been said? Spent a few nights in late June to see our new grandchild & kids. First visit to the area from Pennsylvania. We were actually able to have the kids over to "our" place for dinner one evening...really nice. We look forward to visiting in cooler weather and will certainly stay here again. Val even contacted us when a photo of our new baby was found. He placed it in a protective envelope & mailed it to us. I can only say good things about our experience.

We stayed at the condo for July 4th and enjoyed ourselves very much. Boat rides through the attractive neighborhood were great fun, and the area fireworks at night were a special treat. The condo ameneties and central location were excellent for our 3 day visit. Highly recommend.

Very nice place. Convenient to NO. Clean and comfortable. View from deck is great. Having covered parking and keyless entry is helpful. Local restaurants are reasonable and tasty. Condo owners are very friendly.

Stayed from 3/17 to 3/21 and it was great ! Being a New Orleans native, I already knew what neighborhood the condo was located ( avery nice part of Slidell). Very clean and tastefully decorated with everything needed to feel at "home".

We were absolutely delighted with our stay at the condo in Slidell. Because the price was so reasonable, we entered with a some trepidation and were thrilled with the appearance and amenities. Everything seemed clean and new, with great attention to anything one might need when living away from home. We found Val and Rene delightful to deal with and they were lovely when halfway to LA, we found that we had left all paperwork,directions, etc. at home and had to call. (This was accomplished by calling our daughter and having her look up the phone # on the website.) After years of eye-watering hotel prices in New Orleans and worse, this will be the first place we call when next we return to Louisiana. Many, many thanks. Margaret and Bob Bailey

The condo was beautiful, extra clean and quiet, and in a lovely setting. Our time could not have been nicer. The owners provide everything one could possibly need in an elegant, tasteful, and completely comfortable condo. The location has easy access to New Orleans, the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and the small town friendliness that's sometimes hard to find. Trust me--you will not regret going there!

We have nothing but positive and wonderful things to say about our stay at this condo. We wanted for NOTHING when it came to furnishings and the view is quiet perfection. I am originally from Slidell and the location could not be better for zipping on in to New Orleans for the day. The owners were a dream to deal with and we have already booked another stay with them. We stayed at the Marina Breeze for a week preceeding our daughter's wedding. We didn't have a lot of time to enjoy the view as we made 180 pralines for wedding favors and did numerous other wedding things. It would be nice to come back again and rent to sit and watch the boats go by. I wish it were one more bedroom. We made it work but it would have been much better to have a two bedroom. My mom and daughter slept on the couch and small loveseat. Thanks, L.Lewis

We stayed at this comfortable condo after our conference in New Orleans. It was a nice break from the city. The view from the balcony is beautiful and peaceful. We wished we had a boat to toot around in. Would definitely recommend to our friends and family. Val made booking this place so easy!

we enjoyed our stay in the condo. It was very clean and well stocked. Val was great to deal with, answered our questions without any delay. Our security deposit was refunded promptly. We had a great view of the canal from the balcony. If we should happen to return to New Orleans, we would not hesitate for a moment to rent the condo from Val & Rene.

My family stayed at the condo over the Xmas holidays. It was very clean and guest friendly. We are natives of New Orleans, so it was very convenient. We have rented in Slidell for several years and would definitely consider this condo a future option for us.

WE go to the New Orleans area once or twice a year to visit, and have always stayed in or around the french quarter. That was until we stayed at the condo in Slidell it was not far from downtown New Orleans and it was nice to come back to the condo for some peace and quiet, with a view to die for. The place is kept in perfect condition and has all the feelings of home. My wife and I have said next trip back to Louisiana there is nowhere else we would stay except there. My wife Renee' and I just purchased this condo. It is very convenient to downtown New Orleans and the Missisipi Gulf coast. Slidell is a quaint town that has a historic area and a well known antique district. The local restaurants are as good as any you will find in the area. The condo has been completely remodeled after Hurricane Katrina, including all new furniture. We invite you to bring your boat and fishing pole and enjoy the proximity to New Orleans. We are sure you will enjoy staying at this condo as much as we do! Val Morel
