Located on Active Pass - the spectacular, often turbulent waters and marine passage separating Galiano and Mayne islands. InTheBluff, Galiano’s Oceanside Retreat offers one of the most stunning outlooks in the Southern Gulf Islands. The area is known for its array of wildlife - look out to seals sunning themselves on Collinson Reef, eagles soaring overhead, otters frolicking in the swirling currents and orca whales in their natural element. Breathe the island air.
InTheBluff is a wonderful escape with all the modern amenities one could desire, including connection (wireless) to highspeed internet. Two bedrooms (each with queen size beds) offer comfort and views. Enjoy French door walk-outs from the bedrooms, living room and kitchen. Very comfortably accommodates up to four (4-pc bathroom in house), or six should the separate garden studio (with its own 3-pc bathroom) also be opted for.
The contemporary kitchen is loaded, including a stainless steel convection oven, microwave and dishwasher for your convenience. Cuddle by the wood burning fireplace, hunt for arrowheads on the beach below, hike to the island's highest point on Mount Galiano, sit amongst the Garry oak trees at the look-out point, stroll through The Bluffs park, and enjoy island tranquility at its best.
Located on Georgeson Bay, InTheBluff is a non-smoking, no pet retreat. The vacation home is perfectly situated for some of the best hikes the Gulf Islands have to offer or for just sitting back, breathing the fresh island air and taking in the stunning view any time of the year.
