Located at the base of the famous Appalachian Trail, Suches boasts as the highest elevated civilization in all of Georgia. At approximately 3000 feet above sea level, the weather is always cool and comfortable.
Our home "Camp David" was built in 2006 with all the rustic charm of old world log home living and the creature comforts of a brand new home. Rustic dovetail "hand hewned logs" mixed with state-of-the-art stainless appliances promote a charm and relaxation only found in the ski lodges of Colorado.
This home has three living areas inside as well a screened porch fireplace, heated jacuzzi tub and landscaped bonfire pit all with a view of the mountains. Our property boarders the National Forest so privacy and nature sightings are of the best experiences the mountains have to offer.
Step out the door and hike down the old forest logging trail right to the Toccoa River for a day of fly fishing or just relaxing in your own private 70,000 acre hideaway. After a day of river activities, return to your getaway lodge for an evening outside by the fireplace or gather with friends around the fire pit.
