Sixty (60) miles North of San Francisco and 60 miles West of the Napa Valley Wine country, Bodega Bay California.
Your first impression when you arrive at "Daddy's Dream" is a quiet, romantic retreat with it's sweeping view of Bodega Bay, Bodega Head, Doran Beach and the Pacific Ocean with it's morning and evening coastal fog and bright sunny days.
This is a wonderful escape from the job and freeway traffic. Perfect to celebrate life's events for a week or two. This ocean view home sits on a prime view lot in Bodega Harbour Golf and Country Club and backs up to the first green of a championship, Robert Trent-Jones designed golf links.
A short walk takes you to the beach, pro shop and clubhouse bistro restaurant. This ocean view home has spectacular views and is comfortably decorated with open beam ceilings, two large bedrooms, two full baths, large living room and dining room with wood burning stove, large windows, TV, VCR, DVD player and stereo/CD player, all electric kitchen with Jen Air stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, large counter and breakfast bar and all utensils needed for a comfortable stay.
Large semi-private deck, gas barbeque and hot tub plus a convenient attached garage with a ready supply of firewood.
With all of this it will be hard to leave to play a round of golf, tennis, swim, surf, go deep sea fishing, whale watching, kite flying or ocean kayaking, hiking the coast, take a day trip to to one of the small towns and villages of Sonoma County,visit Napa/Sonoma wine country or just take a short ten minute walk down the lane to one of Northern California's most beautiful little-used beaches with two miles of white sand.
Your evenings can be filled with a night out at one of several restaurants of the area or stay in and cook or barbeque. Hot tub under the stars or sit by a cozy fire with a glass of wine.

We've stayed at several VRBO homes and this was our best experience so far. Very clean, nicely furnished and the kitchen had everything we needed for our meals (sans food of course). The owner takes great pride in how well it is maintained. Although there are two full baths, the master only has a tub, no shower. The other bathroom has a shower, so we had to share - it worked out. The view was great. We look forward to another stay in the home again.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+.
