Our safe, sandy, shallow sloping beach, four kayaks, canoe, paddle boat and swim raft all add up to outstanding water fun! Exceptional lake views, a large "Tree-Top" deck, and bright three-season cedar porch create plenty of opportunities for relaxing the "Up North" way. Listen to the loons' North Woods call and watch the local bald eagles soar and occasionally perch in the towering lakeside 'Eagle Pines'.

Dam Lake is 744 acres and is the largest lake on the five-lake, Sugar Camp chain just east of St. Germain, WI, and is known for excellent game fishing, swimming, and boating. Additionally, two local bar/restaurants have lake front boat access for extra Up North fun.

Enjoy convenient trail access right out the door! Dam Lake is located directly on the fantastic St. Germain ("Bo Boen") system, with over 1,000 miles of groomed trails from Minocqua to Eagle River and more. Two wood-burning, river stone fireplaces will warm you up after a day on your sleds. Plenty of comfortable living, dining and recreation space for large group gatherings. Firewood is included.

Year Purchased: 2005
Pat & Laura Koppa live in the Milwaukee area with their 4 children.
Pat has been coming to Dam Lake since childhood (over 35 years) and Laura joined him when they started dating over 25 years ago.
They purchased their cabin in 2005 in order to have a place to spend more quality time with their kids and create lifelong memories with family and friends. It has not disappointed.
They are happy to provide the same experience for you and your friends and family.

Why the Owner Chose Eagle River
The North Woods are our favorite place on earth, and Dam Lake is truly a special lake, with beautiful shorlines and varying bays and places to go. Yet, it is between populated areas so never gets crowded. It is one of the best-kept secrets in the North Woods.
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
The beach. Actually very rare on North Woods lakes, it is a true beach that is great for kids and adults and the swim area is private and pleasant, free of any concentrated weed beds.
The cabin is comfortable and spacious. It's meant to be a traditional, simple 'cabin' rather than a pristine home. It's meant to feel relaxing and pleasant, but not stuffy or perfect. It's a place to enjoy the lake and walk inside in your swimsuit and not be worried. It's meant to provide a setting for quality time with the people you care about.

Welcome to Eagle Pines Cabin and thank you for visiting our site! Our first full summer as a northwoods rental has been a resounding success. Eagle Pines has been well used and well loved, with not a single vacant night all summer. We thoroughly enjoyed 2 separate weeks with our kids, creating memories with friends and family. What a great thing to know so many people have had the chance to enjoy the beauty and magic of Wisconsin's North Woods! We've had tremendous response to our rennovations, and the interest in summer 2008 has been surprisingly strong, which is wonderful. Have a great fall and winter. Don't forget that "up north" is a special place for fall colors, golf trips, and winter fun and Eagle Pines Cabin is open year-round! Hope to see you at Eagle Pines in the future!
