Those would be my words to sum up a week at this condo on the beach. Our interactions with the owner, Kim, were great. She was so helpful in providing recommendations and assisting us in navigating our first trip to Grand Cayman. The caretaker, Barbara, was equally helpful. She, as well as all of the locals we encountered, were warm and hospitable. If you are looking for a quiet escape from the hectic day to day, this is the place. The condo is located steps from the beach, there's a great pool and hot tub, and several more steps to the Kaibo Yacht Club which has a cute outdoor bar with great food. We visited Seven Mile Beach and found it to be beautiful, but crowded. Driving back to the condo, we were so glad to have booked at Cayman Kai. During our stay, we were often the only people at the pool or on the beach. There's a hammock on the property which provided hours of bliss, just dozing off in the gentle ocean breeze. The condo itself has all the comforts of home. The decor is charming - very Tommy Bahama. We loved making coffee in the morning and sitting on the deck. At night, there's a DVD player and lots of good movies to choose from as well as satellite television (in case you get homesick...haha). The condo also has wi-fi internet, which was good to have. Overall, a great vacation. Can't wait to return!

My husband and I went to Grand Cayman in Feb 2011 and stayed at this wonderful property. It was everything the owner had relayed to us and more! Very clean, right on the beach and had all the amenities. The beach right out from the condo was peaceful and never crowded. Most of the time, we were the only people out there. Rum point is a short drive for a great snorkel spot. The Kaibo yacht club (only 100 yards down the beach) is great for drinks, appetizers or just a place to visit and meet people. The island has a laid back feel, yet there are so many things to do. We snorkeled daily, driving into Seven Mile Beach one day, and clear to the east side of the island another day. The best snorkeling we found was close by, putting in at the Cayman Kai public beach and snorkeling to Rum Point. The Stingray boat/snorkel trip was fun, a little scary when those big creatures rub up against you. The condo had everything we needed and wanted. Sitting each day to have breakfast on the lanai and again at sunset for cocktails was great. There is even an amazing selection of music in the condo that we enjoyed. If we are ever so lucky to visit Grand Cayman again, I would definitely stay at this condo. The owner was very helpful with travel tips before we got there and we never had need for anything that was not included. Be sure to stock up on food and liquor before heading out to the condo since it is remote, but that is exactly what we were looking for. It was truly a slice of paradise to stay at this great property. Cheers!

My husband and I have stayed in this lovely condo twice. It was perfect for a couple. The decorating was very tasteful and we had all the amenities we could want or need. If we had a question it was promptly answered by either the owner or manager there in the Caymans. We have been going to this island since the late 70's and are very familiar with it. We love the laid back feel of this side of the island. You are not isolated while staying at Grand Cayman Haven having activities and good restaurants in walking distance. If you want to be quiet and rest, you can do that too. I would however strongly recommend renting a car. It is fun to explore all the island. The people are very friendly, great restaurants, and you will not find more beautiful water anywhere. It is truly a divers and snorklers paradise. We hope to come stay there again soon and have already recommended it to several of our friends. I would definitely rate Grand Cayman Haven as Excellent in every way.

Grand Cayman Haven was the perfect place for my husband and I to spend a week just getting away from it all! Located on Cayman Kai, it's a little quieter than the Seven Mile Beach area, but that was perfect for us. The condo has everything you need to enjoy your meals and just unwind. Rum Point, with all it's activities is very close as are many great restaurants. The property is clean, located right on the beach, and very peaceful!
