The house conveniently located in a small neighborhood 2 miles south of town and less than 2 miles from the south shore beaches. The entrance to the neighborhood has a shuttle bus stop. It's perfect for just about everyone, delightfully comfortable inside, & fully decorated & painted in beautiful pastels. The house is on 1/2 acre, the backyard is very large, private and park-like, it is adjacent to conservation land behind the house. Cyclists love this location, bike paths easily accessed, & rental bikes can be delivered upon arrival. Call re: baby equipment.
The kitchen is large & equipped with top of the line appliances including an large Viking oven & 6 burner Viking stove & Bosch dishwasher. Outside deck new 08 gas grill & round teak table and umbrella, + picnic table on the deck. The master bedroom is massive by most house standards with a beautifully designed open-beamed ceiling and for 2009, a NEW KING BED. 2cnd Bedroom has a QUEEN Bed, 3rd bedroom TWO twin beds. Sleeps 6 plus an infant.
There are videos, + VCR + DVD player, for kids, rainy day games and puzzles, 2 beach boogie boards, 2 large bins of sand toys.
All upstairs bedrooms have cathedral ceilings. There is a central upstairs bathroom with a soaking tub with separate shower area, new granite bathroom counters, + half bathroom downstairs renovated 07 with new pedestal sink & plumbing. There is a wonderful cedar fully enclosed private outside shower on rear deck that gets full late afternoon sun after a long day at the beach. One well behaved crate trained large dog is fine, or two smaller dogs can vacation here, Nantucket is probably the most dog friendly place on Earth. Call or email for doggie guidelines.

Why the Owner Chose Surfside
We chose this location mainly because we loved the house and the yard, it was on a nice 1/2 acre lot with no other houses behind it. It has a very spacious feel inside, nice wooden plank pine floors, half the downstairs is the kitchen, also nice. There are a lot of windows, so its nice and bright. The backyards and back deck both feel parklike and peaceful, plus the sunsets are beautiful. We like the neighbors and the neighborhood. Its a very dog friendly, kid friendly neighborhood.
