We are located 5 minutes from Lake Harmony/Big Boulder, the new H2O0000h water park, and 20 minutes from Camelback/Camelbeach and the Crossings Outlets. Hickory Run State Park is only 10 minutes away. We are approximately 4 miles from Route 80.
Our cozy mountain community is surrounded by protected state gamelands. If you are a wildlife enthusiast, make sure you bring your binoculars. Lake Shangrila, just one block away, offers a sandy beach with floating docks and life guards, BBQ area, children’s park, basketball, volleyball and tennis courts, and a fishing dock. In addition, the community center offers various activities throughout the year including movies and a community library.
Our home is minutes from hiking, golfing, NASCAR raceway, ski areas, and great outlet shopping. The property is located close to I-80, 5 minutes to Hickory Run State Park, Lake Harmony, Split Rock Resort, Pocono Raceway, historic Jim Thorpe, Big Boulder, and new H20OOOO water slide area at Jack Frost. Camelback/Camel Beach and the Crossings outlets are all close by. Four different golf courses are only 10 minutes away. We are just 25 minutes from the Mount Airy Casino.
The home has three bedrooms (two queen, one full, one twin) with an additional pull-out sofa in the loft area. The fully supplied kitchen provides a coffee maker, microwave, and dishwasher. The living room with its beautiful stone fireplace is the perfect place to unwind after a long, fun day of activities and shopping in the Poconos. You can also check your e-mail and search for more Pocono activities on your laptop using the wireless hi-speed Internet connection.
Our 3-bedroom modern chalet will comfortably accommodate a family of seven, and with a pull-out sofa, sleeps nine. But it’s also perfect for three couples traveling together, or as a romantic and extra-spacious getaway for two.
For your outdoor pleasure, the two large wooden decks in the front and back of the house provide seating for dining and relaxing. Our kitchen adjoins the dining area, which opens onto the deck through sliding glass doors. The wooded lot provides quiet surroundings for relaxation. Centrally located, shopping isn't far away with antique shops and The Crossings Outlets.
The Pocono Mountains are located in the northeastern corner of Pennsylvania, USA. We are only 90 minutes from New York City and less than 2 hours from Philadelphia...and easily reached via Interstate highways 80, 81, 84, and Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
