Gecko House is only three miles from Cruz Bay yet nestled into a lush, quiet hillside, affording spectacular views of Fish Bay and beyond.
Close to many beautiful, white sand beaches and numerous scenic hiking trails, most within the National Park. Thus you can enjoy the unspoiled, natural beauty of our small island. Relax on our open, covered deck and absorb the tranquil sights & sounds of the birds, frogs and brilliant, turquoise waters as well as our vibrant gardens of many fruit trees.
For an additional charge and upon request, the owner’s art studio is available for use. Artist’s are encouraged to inquire and are most welcomed!
From Gecko House, it is an easy five-minute walk down to Fish Bay, where you'll find a quiet and private shallow water beach perfect for beachcombing and walking along paths through the mangroves.
Accommodations:
Gecko House is a fully appointed St. John rental cottage. There are two comfortable bedrooms with their own private baths, each on a separate floor. The house may be rented to sleep 2 or 4 people, giving you an economical option if you are a couple.
A fully equiped kitchen opens up to the bedroom area with a queen bed, high speed internet access & cable tv. A private deck awaits you off the bedroom. The second bedroom, with a double bed, is on the lower level.
Gecko house is at the end of a road, making it private, quiet, peaceful, and restful. You'll enjoy being away from hectic life in Cruz Bay, but close enough to go and enjoy dinner, shopping and nightlife, in only a 10-minute ride. With so much to do just in Fish Bay and the many other bays that make up the south shore of the island, you'll never want to leave.
