I had business that took me to Maui in March 2012. I had previously booked a hotel when a friend of mine told me about VRBO.com. Unfortunately, this was only a couple of weeks before my arrival. Availability was scarce. However, as luck would have it this unit was available for EXACTLY the four nights that I needed. Barbara was great to work with. The condo was just as nice as the description. I took my wife and she had more time to enjoy the unit than I did. The kitchen had lots of room to cook and had all of the latest appliances. The ocean was just steps outside the sliding glass doors. On our last morning we sat out on the lanai and enjoyed breakfast as we watched the sun rise and the whales play a few hundred yards off shore. (The condo even had binoculars!) We enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

This condo truly exceeded our expectations. It was so nice, that we loved coming home from the beach everyday just to be here. The sound of the constant pounding surf, and the ocean, sunrise, Haleakala and palm trees were right out the front lanai. Being on the ground floor was an extra bonus, because we didn't have to stay at the nearby grills and instead could work on the rest of our supper. Thanks for pineapple, jam, banana bread and fresh wonderful flowers.

Great times for Terri Lynne's 50th birthday party in Maui. We went out to Makena Beach, you must stop at Makena Grill along the road. Awesome! Tell Maressa at Makena Grill Bill and Terri said hi! Voted best grill last 4 years! This is the best side of the island! Enjoy the sunrises: Kimo's in Lahaina is the best food in town. We love this complex-it is so quiet. Much Mahalo

Late July, 2011: A tranquil magical setting, used as basecamp for other Maui adventures-Haleakala at sunrise, driving around W. Maui, feast at Lele Makena Beach...but always a delight coming "home" to A4. Thank you for creating such a sweet spot..

What a wonderful condo. Great location to access everything that Maui has to offer. Stephanie was wonderfu to work with and the extra touches we found in the condo were a nice surprise. The location is very quiet and peaceful. The grounds of the complex were in terrific condition and what a view out to the ocean. Eat at Freds' Mexican Cantina in Kihei for the BEST Mahi Mahi Tacos. Taco Tuesday is a bargin. The CD in the condo for the journey to Hana was great and added to the trip. If you go up to the crater to see the sunrise...do it the very next morning after you arrive your body will still be on your old time schedule so getting up at 3:00a.m. is not bad and so worth the trip. What a view....onto of the world. Go to up country and visit the towns there. Everyone is so friendly and it is such a different vibe than down at the resorts. Snorkeling is wonderful. Make sure you check out as many of beaches as you can. We are already planning our next trip to the island. If there is paradise on earth Maui is it.

WOW!! What a great place to come and relax to!! The view was wonderful, very peaceful and beautiful. We stayed here in June 2009 for 1 week. Amazing! Wonderful! Gorgeous! A-4 is right on the water and you provided us with everything we needed. The community was very quiet and we felt like we had the place to ourselves. The property manager on site was very friendly and helpful as well. My party rented 4 of your condos at this property and everyone was extremely pleased. We all can't wait to go back. (Thank you Stephanie for all your help and for being so accommodating)

November 27, 2008 Happy Thanksgiving! and how thankful we are to have spent Nov 15 to today in what used to be our condo! I would like to take this time to personally thank Stephanie for the opportunity to stay in her beautiful condo. My husband and I celebrated our 10th Anniversary on Maui, and had the honor to stay here. Everything about our trip was PERFECT!!! There was absolutly nothing we needed that was not thought of in this condo. Centrically located to everything and everywhere we wanted. The beach really felt as if it were ours, since there wasn't another for miles. And if in Kihea for a visit, stop by Bada Bings Italian restuarant for lunch or dinner. Easily the best food we had!!! Nice upgrades and great location for touring; central to the island and adjacent to 4 miles of undeveloped beach. Safeway's have ahi tenderloins ($25/lb but worth it) and poki to die for. Most of the guest we met were multiple repeat returns and we would definitely stay here next time on Maui.
