Located on a private three acre estate, Goldeneye evokes the elegance and comfort of a fine country manor house. Entering the home, the inviting entry foyer opens into a magnificent, two-story great room framed with hand-hewn timbers and graced with a massive stone fireplace on one side and a wall of glass on the Western exposure, which looks over a serene pond to the Tetons beyond.
Off the great room is a formal dining area, which is anchored by the other side of the stone fireplace and flows directly into a gourmet kitchen, complete with a light and cheerful breakfast nook. The other side of the great room opens onto a comfortable den, which serves as the anteroom to the master bedroom suite.
The master suite is a relaxing sanctuary, with a king bed, hand-crafted chest, its own fireplace, and a walk-in closet. The bedroom is complimented by the master bath, which features dual marble vanities, a jetted soaking tub, steam shower, and private doorway to the exterior hot tub.
The second story contains three guest bedrooms, each with its own private bath: a junior suite with a fireplace and private deck, a queen-bedded room with a magnificent Teton view, and a delightful children’s room, done in a playful Western motif, which can sleep four in two bunkbeds. In addition, there is an upstairs game and media room accessed by its own stairs off the kitchen, complete with a 48 inch HDTV with Surround Sound, foosball, shuffleboard, game table, refrigerator, and microwave.
The charming guest cottage is designed and furnished to the same high standards as the manor house. Set on its own pond, the cottage has its own kitchen and sitting/dining area with fireplace, along with two bedrooms, one with twin beds and one with a queen.
The grounds around Goldeneye seamlessly combine Western authenticity with the feeling of an English country estate, with indigenous Western grasses giving way to an immaculately manicured lawn immediately around the house. The outdoor seating and dining is superb, with beautiful vistas and even occasional visits by moose and other wildlife, all in a setting of almost total privacy.
Located on the exclusive West Bank, just five minutes from Teton Village and fifteen minutes from the restaurants and galleries of Jackson, Goldeneye is the perfect haven for the discriminating visitor. |
