Renters enjoy full privileges of the challenging 18-hole Morris Hatalsky golf course as well as the beautiful and child friendly, nine-hole, par-three course at Trillium West. Other club amenities include the new fitness center with state of the art work out equipment, yoga classes, limited spa services, and three indoor tennis courts. Outdoor courts are located near the swimming pool and hot tub. At home, enjoy a good book or dinner on the deck next to the outdoor fireplace, with stunning panoramic views of three mountain ranges and for three seasons; of beautiful Lake Glenville. Explore the waterfalls of Lake Glenville through the Trillium Village Marina which provides rentals of fishing and ski boats, kayaks, and canoes. Or, hike on Trilliums wooded paths. Trillium's sister property; Chinquapin offers more hiking and fishing spots as well as guided Horse-back riding and mountain biking. The Cashiers/Highlands area is famous for scenic drives, hiking, great restaurants and for art,clothing and antique shopping! Restaurants range from casual to elegant and choices are numerous. Trillium also has fine dining at The Landings (overlooking Lake Glenville) and at the Trillium Club House and grill. Whitewater rafting is offered on the nearby and gentle Tuckaseegee River, or for the more adventurous, just over an hour is the fabulous Nantahala Outdoor Center, offering many levels of whitewater trips and mountain bike excursions. We love to come in the winter as well and drive over to Cataloochee ski area, or go snow tubing in nearby Sapphire Valley. There is so much to do almost all year round - you will keep coming back!
