I highly recommend this property for a perfect vacation in Destin. The location is great and the condo is beautiful. I can't say enough good things about the mattresses!! I have never slept better!! My girlfriend and I took 3 16 year old boys with us. The third bedroom would easily sleep 4. A great time was had by all. Derral is wonderful to rent from. Always replies quickly if you have a question or concern.

We stayed in your beautiful condo during the month of Nov. Accomodations were great. The weather and beach were beautiful. We enjoyed the colorful sunsets daily. Wonderful place to chill and relax.

I stayed a week at this condo and found the experience to be wonderful. The condo is just as the photos depict - roomy, spacious, and comfortable. Perfect view of the ocean and beach. During the stay a small issue came up that Derral (the owner) personally took care of the same day; needless to say, I was very impressed and would highly recommend this condo.

Excellent Vacation

Just booked our vacation for this October after staying in the condo October 2012. We really enjoyed the beautiful beaches and the breathe taking views from our private balcony over looking the Gulf of Mexico. Another great amenity was the two beach chairs with umbrella service at no extra cost. Rooms were clean and spacious and each room had it's own on-suite. We were able to check in directly to the room via the door key pad which is a nice feature after a long drive. No wait or dealing with an attendant. Looking forward to another great vacation!

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

The condo would have been beautiful, way too much furniture, not enough towels and wash cloths. I did call housekeeping about that and assured all seven adults that we had plenty, so why complain about the direty floors and dust, dirty mirrors and beds are the most uncomfortable we have ever slept on. Deck has 4 chairs for seven people. Other than that Destin Beach is beautiful.The floor was so dirty, out feet looked like tar. We would have complained, but we had already arrived and was too exicted to be there, with the owner already saying no refunds, what was the use in complaining. Would not stay at Jade East again and certainly not in 640. It is deceiving by the pictures or the owner is not checking on their unit.

Owner response: I am so sorry Robin you were not totally satisfied at our Jade East unit. I wish you had called me and I would have made every effort to correct what you felt was not to your expectations. I want all my guest to be happy with our unit and if I had been notified, I would have reacted. I just want to comment ,your response bothered me so much, I even went so far as to call the guest staying after your departure to see if some of the same issues you brought up were a problem, and I was told they loved the unit and was great. I'm sorry you did not enjoy the memory foam temperpidic mattresses, for most guest rave about them, but I now know now they are not for everyone. I also try to supply amble seating for all the guest to have a place to sit,and I sorry you feel it had to much furniture. Also, I feel there is not enough room on the balcony for 8 chairs,for that would be to crowded. I do visit my unit fairly often,for I was just there in August to purchased all new linens and 4 sets of towels and washcloths per bath. I will speak with housekeeping to make sure these 12 sets are always in the unit. Thanks for your stay and please return to Destin soon. Derral

Wonderful vacation!!!

We had a great vacation in Destin. The condo was wonderful. Very clean. The bathrooms, mostly the showers were great. Everything was just as good or better as the owner said. We have rented from VRBO twice and was not disappointed either time. We were afraid of having to wait on elevators since it's such a tall building, but they were always there. May is the perfect time to go to Destin. Everything about this condo was great. We did not want to leave. Destin has never disappointed our family.

We could not have ask for a more perfect place to stay. It was everything we needed 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, on the beach side with balcony, easy access to a beautiful beach and enjoyed the pool and hot tub also. Perfect for our family situation. Derral , the owner, was very easy to work with and very helpful.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Just got back from a great vacation in your beautiful and comfortable condo. My little grandchildren loved the warm pool and we all loved the sugar sand beaches. There were many good restaurants and lots of entertainment nearby. Thank you for making our stay so nice. Hope to return soon.

Having owned 3 condos in Destin ourselves in the past, we know the difference in good, better and best in Destin. This condo is BETTER than BEST !!! Expensive furnishings, comfortable beds. Every accessory you can think of, and a responsive owner who cares that you enjoy your stay to the fullest. In the future, we wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. The Flemisters (Ponte Bedra Beach, FL)

Our family and friends spent the full Christmas 2008 week in this unit. We had a wonderful time!! Ages ranged from 23 to 56, and every person had a lot of fun. The unit was spacious enough, yet very cozy. It is professionally decorated (see pics) and the furnishings are not only beautiful, but very comfortable. We even took our pink Christmas tree, and it looked great. The unit has all the amenities we wanted, including a wine cooler :) Jade East is in the heart of Destin, convenient to everything. Three in our group flew in on different flights to the Northwest Florida Regional Airport (VPS) in Fort Walton. It took about 20 minutes each way, so that too was very convenient for multiple trips. The onsite management was exceptional...very attentive and prompt with any request or question. The owner, Derral, is just great. He responded to every communication promptly, thoroughly. He is obviously careful to whom he rents, and that is evident in the good condition of the unit.You can believe all the wonderful things that have been written about the unit. I just wish I could keep this place a secret, and have it all to myself!I hope to be able to visit the owner’s other properties in Destin and Panama City sometime. Just wanted to let you know we are leaving (sadly) tomorrow morning. We enjoyed your Jade East condominium more than I can put into words. It was a great location with great amenities close by. I think the whole week we drove about 20 miles total! We really enjoyed the Big Kahuna waterpark and the executive golf course at Golf Garden. My son got a real kick out of golfing at night! At 8, he is already an avid golfer and part of the South Texas PGA Little Linkster program, but has never golfed at night. So it was a great experience for him. The condominium was beautiful and from the balcony this morning, we got to see a dolphin swimming very close to shore. Later when we were out in the water, he was still close by. We experienced big waves on Sun/Mon/Tues due to the tropical storm, but later this week, it had even'd out and the water was amazing. I think there was only one day we weren't on the beach...and that was the day we went to the waterpark. The ND prop mgmt company was wonderful. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Makes me want to live here! I just wanted to say thanks again for a great week! We are sad to leave, but hope to come back again! And we have already decided when we do to try to come back to your condo! The R**** Family

My son and I just got back from an Amazing trip in Destin! This was his first time to the beach and we loved it. We with were with great friends and the staff and facility could not have been more friendly and professional. We met people from all over who we hope to see again for many years to come. I seem to be in a haze this morning. It's so hard to get back into the swing of things after our relaxing island vacation! I miss having my morning coffee while watching the beautiful Gulf surf and the dolphins play. You were absolutely right that we would love it. We had such fabulous time! The condo and grounds were beautiful and the staff was pleasant and courteous. I cannot thank you enough for your generosity in sharing your condo with our family. We played hard and slept like babies on the comfy beds. A big storm came thru on Sunday and stirred up the seaweed and jellyfish, but that didn't stop us too much. The kids loved having the pool to go to in the afternoons while the adults just relaxed and got to know some of the other vacationers. The girls from Mississippi were crazy and the boys from Ohio State Univ. were fun too. In fact, everyone we met was friendly, courteous and ready to have a good time. Our family unanimously voted to come back to your condo again same time next year if available!

We stayed here in September with my family. This is the first vacation I have taken with my parents and brothers since September of 2001. The first day of our last vacation was September 10th. Needless to say, the events of that week cast a dark shadow on our time together. This trip was just what we needed. I had stayed here with my in-laws in April, so I knew how incredibly nice the unit was. My parents and brothers were very impressed with the condo. Not only is it beautiful and tasteful, but also very comfortable. It was just what we needed for a long awaited and much needed get-away together. I would recommend this condo to anyone, anytime.

This is the second time we have stayed in this unit this year. We like it so much in April that we booked again and stayed the first week in September. This time we went with my husband's family. This was the first trip we have all taken since September of 2001. The last time we were in Destin together, the world was watching the twin towers crumble. Needless to say, it cast a dark shadow on our trip. This time we were able to really enjoy every minute of our stay. This peaceful and beautiful home really completed our experience. I would recommend it to anyone.

We Spent a week in Destin and shared this condo with another family and absoutly had a wonderful time. The condo was beautiful to say the least. The (4) kids shared a bedroom and love it. There was plenty of sleeping space. The master suite was wonderful! We sat up at night and played cards & board games together at the dining table & had plenty of space. Honestly the best we've ever stayed at, on any beach vacation. The pool was great and the beach also had plenty of room to spread out. Thanks for having us in your home! This was by far the nicest condo that we have ever stayed in. We prefer the Jade East Towers and stay there every year, but this particular unit is above and behond the rest. We will be staying in this unit from now on!!

When you go on vacation, it's nice to feel a little spoiled. This place definitely felt like our own little piece of paradise. We had 3 little ones with us, and the layout of the bedrooms was perfect for us. It was nice to be in a place I love with the people I cherish most. We've been coming to Destin for 10 years and have stayed in many differant condos. This is the best. Great location, great views ( especially the sunsets ) and great people to rent from.We feel as if we've stepped into an Island retreat when we come into the condo. Professionally decorated and wonderfull beds. We would highly recommend this unit, but it won't be for rent in the winter season as we will be there. We have found our winter home in Destin for many more years.

THIS UNIT WILL SPOIL YOU!!! We were fortunate enough to stay in this unit in May '06 with members of our daughter's senior class. Our group rented 4 condos at Jade East. All were lovely, but this condo was more than we could have imagined. The Internet photos do not do the furnishing justice. The spaciousness well accomodated our group of 4 adults and 5 students. I can't even fathom a better ocean view than the one you will get from this 6th floor balcony. Just high enough to view the dolphins swimming, but not so high that you can't recognize members of your group on the beach or in the pool. Such wonderful memories were made there -- and the holiday card from the owners at Christmas not only served to brighten a cold winter day, but also made us anxious to return. We can't imagine that we will ever want to stay anywhere else. This may be the start of a family tradition. Thank you for sharing this condo with us. The Todd Mays Family.
