This condominium, Unit 1-103, is on the ground floor of the highly desirable Building One and features a large lanai and recently remodeled kitchen and bathrooms. The kitchen has granite counter tops plus a stainless steel built-in microwave, dishwasher, and under mount sink. This condo also features a new king size bed and new carpet in the master bedroom.
The large lanai overlooks an open grassy area, the lush central garden, and the newly rebuilt pond, and spectacular fountains. There is also a partial view of the ocean from the lanai. There have been many other upgrades to the condominium for your enjoyment and comfort. A new plantation shutter was installed in the bedroom window and two new Samsung flat screen TVs have been added to the living room and bedroom. There is a powerful air conditioner as well as ceramic tile everywhere except the bedroom. Also, a new front loading washer and dryer were added in 2012. The condominium has been tastefully decorated in island style and in general is equipped with all the comforts of home to make your vacation an unforgettable experience.
The condominium is just a short walk across the street to the Kamaole III beach where you can swim, read a book under the trees, or just sit and watch the whales in season or the sunset. Building 1 is situated so that there is no problem with either street noise or pool noise. It also features easy access to the swimming pool, barbeque grills, and tennis courts.

Overall our experience in this very well equipped condo was great. The only problem was with the bedroom being near the elevator and some people when coming home late at night were very noisy standing by the elevator. It was very warm in July and we had to leave the window open to catch any breeze we could, so we could hear anyone. There are fans in the room but we dont like using them. However I would still recommend this property. We loved the large lanai and being close to the beach. Sharon was very accommodating and answered all our questions about the rental unitRecommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We believe that our condo is in a very favorable overall position with respect to noise. There is no road noise, no pool noise and no noise from the multiple barbeque areas. These are serious noise issues for many condos on property. Occationally a guest will violate the quiet hour rules and talk in the walkways or by the elevator at night. There is not much we can do about that. Also, we just purchased a new tower fan which is very effective at moving cool air into and around the bedroom. Thank you so much for a great, great stay! We had a wonderful time in Maui, and it was always great to come back each day to your lovely condo! It had everything we were looking for, for a family of 4. Being on the ground floor is such a bonus, as the kids played daily on the sprawling lawns and we could sit and watch them easily from the fabulous large lanai. After a long day at the beach, it was so nice to not have to wait for elevators! The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen....so great, and very well stocked with all that you need to make any kind of meal! You've done a lovely job! The unit is fully equipped, clean, fresh, and nicely decorated with Hawaiian influences. Thank you so much for having us! It was great dealing with Sharon...so organized and efficient!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Hi Sharon, I just wanted to say we had a great time in Maui. Your unit was beautiful, the kitchen was great, the lanai was large, and a great location being on the ground floor. We met up with friends there and actually there were quite a lot of people that stay there that are from our town of Ladner. We went to the Costco and had great BBQ's everynight...! We truly had a relaxing vacation...thankyou so much...!!!! We have returned home to -3 degrees and lots of rain and snow.....we miss Maui already.....!!!! We hope you are enjoying Florida. About the owner: We are both retirees of The Dow Chemical Company where we worked for almost 30 years. Steve specialized in computer systems, where as, Sharon is a chemist and worked in Technical Service and Development related to water treatment. In retirement we both enjoy playing tennis and doing volunteer work. We also enjoy spending time with our two daughters, one son in law, and three grandchildren. Managing our condo in Maui has been a great source of pride and accomplishment in our lives.
Why the Owner Chose Kamaole Sands:
We had vacationed at this property for several years and really loved it. It is a great family resort in a wonderful location near the beach. You can walk on the beach for miles in either direction and you can snorkel right in front of the condo. You can also walk to dinner and shopping if you are not up for a drive. We also love the fact that we see local Hawaiian's using the beach and park and can feel like we are a part of their culture.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
The central garden is absolutely beautiful with a variety of colorful flowering plants and trees. There is also a large pool and two hot tubs to enjoy after a busy day on the island. The BBQ areas are a short walk from the lanai of the condo and have been recently renovated. The four tennis courts are generally available and they are conveniently located. This is a low density condominium complex with plenty of room to walk around and enjoy the grounds.
