The second upstairs bedroom has a queen-sized bed and fireplace, and the downstairs bedroom has a daybed and trundle bed.
Sip a cup of coffee and enjoy the sunset while swinging on the back porch, which offers a relaxing view of Ben Hall Lake with ducks and geese often swimming by.
Ben Hall Lake is loaded with fish- bream, catfish, and bass just to name a few! Fish off the dock or venture onto the lake in the pedal boat. A fish-cleaning sink and charcoal grill are provided in the covered patio area, so you can catch your fish and eat them, too!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this lake lodge. I travel with my job and needed to relocate myself, my wife, my 4 year old, and my 8 month old. We found this lake house and contacted Asena. It was a pleasure talking with her and she assured me that everything would be set up and ready to go. She was absolutely telling the truth. The cabin was clean, stocked, and turn the key ready. After 6 weeks of living there, I had no complaints. To those who would say it needs TLC, I would remind them that this is indeed a lake lodge not a condo. My kids loved staying at the "cabin" as they called it. Fishing was fun and the view off the screened in porch was awesome. Keep in mind that it is in the country, so give yourself 15 minutes to get into town. The country store up the street was helpful. Being out of town was actually very nice and quiet. Overall, we loved our experience at the cabin. I will certainly call Asena again next time my family and I need a place to stay in Dublin.

In Need of Some TLC

The house itself was clean, spacious and comfortable, but the exterior has clearly been neglected. None of the exterior lights were working, and the dock was in disrepair. The lake was unswimmable because of a major moss problem. We were disappointed in that...really hoped to have an outdoor adventure weekend, including some swimming, but it wasn't possible. The place needs some TLC.
Owner response:Mary, I just received the review you wrote for your stay in August. I did not realize you were so disappointed and wanted to address your concerns. I have adjusted the website and deleted "swimming" from the activities. I apologize, but I have no control over the algae/moss that has become a problem. Biologists are apparently working on the problem now. As for the lights, perhaps you were not aware of the switch locations for the exterior lights? There was a bulb on the porch that had burnt out, but other than that, the exterior lights were fine. The glass covers on the fence outside are decorative only. The dock is older, that's for sure! It is not unusable by any means, though. You were able to stay at the discounted rate, and I did not charge you for your pets. The caretaker tells me she also worked to accomodate your swimming needs as well. If there are additional concerns that I have not answered, please feel free to email me, and I'll do my best.

We stayed for 4 days and did not want to leave. The peace and quiet was just what we needed and we left rested and refreshed. The view of the lake and wildlife were spectacular; we watched geese, ducks and some monster bass swimming around the dock. The house has all the amenities that you could possibly want, satellite TV, wireless internet and a washer/dryer. There are many great restaurants within a few miles (one of which was named the best pizzeria in GA by USA today). Savannah was a great day trip with lots of historical sites and incidentally is one of the few cities that does not prohibit open containers if you choose to imbibe while walking around. When we stayed home we spent most of our time on the back porch relaxing in the hammock or fishing for white perch off of the dock. This was an amazing place to stay and we would love to return next year if it is not booked!

My husband and I had an awesome four days at the lakehouse. Everything was provided for by our wonderful hostess, Asena. Also, the nearby caretakers were very helpful. Spent most of our time relaxing on the screened porch overlooking the dock. What a serene atmosphere. We plan to return in the near future. Thank you again for everything! Lynne and Drexel

My family was in town for a wedding and all of the hotels were booked. Staying in your lakefront home was amazing. We ate breakfast on the screened in porch overlooking the lake, played games at night, fed the ducks, fished, and enjoyed quality family time. Thank you so much for all of your assistance!

JUST MARVELOUS,We have stayed at this cottage for the last 3 years, for the month of May,and are returning again this year.SO don't book it in MAY!!! The porch is 1 of the most relaxing places we've found on earth;I do some of my best thinking on the swing overlooking the lake. Looking through the trees down to the lake, past the dock, watching the ducks and the geese flying about in formations. This is a family or lovers retreat... You'll have a great time in a great place.RELAX AT THE LAKEHOUSE AS WE CALL IT.EMAIL ME IF YOU WANT TO KNOW ANY MORE.

Our Family enjoyed a long weekend at this lovely & spacious home. Our hostess saw to it that we had all amenitites which added to our already accommodating home and surroundings. We fished and drank in the waterfront view. We miss the porch and wonderful hammock swing. The town of Dublin treated us as if we were their own familly and invited my 2 boys to local activities. We would absolutely recommend this vacation spot and home to our friends and famliy.

Our family of four (two girls ages 7 and 5) evacuated the SC coast because of hurricane Hanna and were thankful to find a place that was pet-friendly. Our retreat from the coast turned into a great family weekend and we had a great time discovering Ben Hall lake. The house was very comfortable, clean, nicely decorated, and was well-stocked. We saw only ONE boat on the lake during our three-day stay making our swimming and fishing very peaceful. Our hostess Asena was very acommodating and easy to work with. The people in the community were very friendly and helpful as well. We would stay there again!!
