Very updated and well kept, nice and clean. Better than we anticipated, Would definitely rent this place again. This is truely a very relaxful and homey place. Excellent aviance and a wonderful place to get away from the rest of the world and truely unwind. We didn't have any kids with us just girls getting away from everything, but if you did have kids lots to do in the summer time. We choice spring because we wanted to enjoy the privacy of the beach and the weather was perfect for that in the mid 60"s and sunny everyday. This is a great place for girlie week and a place to let your hair down and enjoy the peace and tranquiity and the WINE.

My family of four (two adult children and parents) had a lovely time at this house. It is well-appointed, spacious, comfortable, neat, and immaculate. The owner responds to inquiries quickly and was very helpful. It's a wonderful location for the beach and for walking. All the communal living areas are quite large. We had a great time and can highly recommend it to anyone interested in a Cape Cod rental.

We have rented this property for 2 years with 2 other parties. We have all enjoyed our time at this property. It is clean with all amenitites and reasonably priced. Everything is included except bed linens and towels. There are TVs in all the bedrooms and internet and telephone are included as well. The beach is very close as is shopping and restaurants. We plan to rent again this year and expect to enjoy it just as much as in the past.

Our family spent a fun filled week in this well maintained, extremely well equipped and comfortable home this past July. Our grandchildren loved playing in the beautfiully landscaped yard and walking to the beach to build sandcastles. This home is located near wonderful restaurants, shops, golf courses and historical sites in Sandwich. I highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone seeking a perfect retreat on Cape Cod. We look forward to our next summer vacation in this home.

My friends and I spent a long weekend on the Cape at this beautiful home. We had a great time playing ping pong in the basement, making meals together in the spacious kitchen, grilling pineapples and making s'mores on the grill outside, and lounging at the private beach, which was a less than 10 minute walk away. Though there were only 1.5 indoor bathrooms (not including the outdoor shower, which a friend said was really relaxing), the house comfortably slept 8 people. The owner responded to emails quickly and was really great about making recommendations about where to eat and other things to do in the area; she even sent brochures about Martha's Vineyard when I inquired about making a day trip there. Overall, we all enjoyed our weekend escape from the city; I'd highly recommend booking this place!

A little piece of heaven in East Sandwich. I visited with 3 of my quilting buds in April. The house has an awesome setup for quilting getaways. It is located near all the shops a quilter or crafter would need or want to visit. The home is very comfortable. Great walks to the beach and thru the dunes. Decor is right on the money for myself and friends. We will be visiting again very soon.

Our family of four stayed here for five days in April 2011 and found the house to be perfect for our needs. The property fully meets the listing description, and the owner was responsive and easy to deal with. We would certainly consider renting it again when we return to the Cape.

The home was nice and it was clean when we arrived. The owner was very detail-oriented and provided accurate information. There were a few small inconveniences - we had to provide our own linens, towels, toilet paper, etc - but we knew this upfront. The kitchen was updated, spacious, and well-equipped. The house is about a five minute walk from the beach.
Owner response:There's always a roll of toilet paper, hand soap, dish detergent, cleaners, and a roll of paper towels for guests. My conversations with my renters always stress that they need to bring their own linens, towels, food, paper products, etc. This is also written in my packet of information sent to each renter. It's listed in "what to bring." I also include a document called, "house inventory list." If the renter is from out of state or the country, we then discuss my providing sheets and towels if they aren't able to bring them.

We have vacationed at this house for the last 7 years. Originally we only came for 1 week now we enjoy 2 and are hoping to some year be able to have the luxury of maybe 3 or 4. Thru the years my children and husband and I have made some friends here that we look forward to spending time with. The owners have provided everything you may need to enjoy a nice stay. The house is always spotless and well maintained. The location is perfect. You can drive into Sandwich center to visit the shops or grab a bite to eat, or take a short ride to Hyannis where you will find alot to do. We are counting the days now till our vacation. I highly recommend this rental either during the summer or off season, you will NOT be disappointed.

I have enjoyed many weekend getaways at this home in East Sandwich, and I can't imagine a more beautiful home, located in a quiet neighborhood and only a short walk away from the private beach. The house is bright, sunny, and spacious with all the comforts of home. The owners put a lot of time and effort into making your stay as comfortable as possible, and go above and beyond what most rental property owners provide for their renters. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The kitchen/dining area has a large island in the middle which accommodates a large family/friends, the skylight allows the sunlight to stream in, and the cupboards are stocked with all the amenities you could possibly need. The living area/tv room has plenty of seating for everyone, and overlooks the private, spacious back yard. As an added bonus, the entire basement has been beautifully finished, providing a great place for children and teens to play games and enjoy their own space. Everyone loves the outdoor shower! It's great after coming home from a day at the beach, and keeps the sand outside! We enjoy the private beach just a short walk away. With a private parking pass, you're assured a parking space, and avoid the long waiting lines at other beaches. The beach is never overcrowded, and the views are magnificent. We love walking along the trails through the tall beach grass at one end of the beach where we discover a wide variety of seashells. The sunrises and sunsets take your breath away! The village of Sandwich has several boutiques, art galleries, gift shops and restaurants that promise unique items that you can rarely find anywhere else. You can drive along Rt. 6A and stop into shops ranging from artistic hand-blown glass to stylish women's fashion. Several restaurants are only a short drive away, ranging from gourmet dining to a casual pizza place. The town of East Sandwich is conveniently located a short distance from the Sagamore bridge, so traffic is minimal. I highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone who wants a relaxing vacation in charming Cape Cod!

The thought of spending 5 weeks in a hotel while working on a temporary project on Cape Cod was not a thrilling prospect. So when I decided to try VRBO.com as an alternative, I found property #102224. I was ecstatic. What a great house in a super location. It fit our needs perfectly and the owner could not have been a better hostess!! I cannot recommend this property highly enough. And, it was the off-season with weather not suitable for anything much. I can only imagine how great this spot would be in the summer. Don't hesitate, rent it now before the good dates are gone!!

This property was exactly what it was advertised to be. Five friends stayed for a 4-day, 4-night getaway and were all extremely pleased with everything. Very well maintained, excellent correspondence by owner, close to shops and restaurants that we were interested in. The accomodations were perfect. Would, and already have, recommended it to others!

We have stayed at this home several times and love coming back. It is very clean and comfortable. There is plenty of room and the photos represent the house very nicely. The ping pong table and outside shower are family favorites, not to mention the short walk to the beach. The yard is great for those warm weather meals. The owner is very accommodating and defiantly wants your time there to be perfect.

This home is ideal for our family of 5 travelers, including a young teen. With two bedrooms (with multiple beds) on one side of the home, and a large master on the opposite side of the home, the set-up is ideal. The house is always spotless, and feels spacious, relaxing, and peaceful. The finished basement is such a bonus if you are traveling with children. The neighborhood setting is private and quiet, yet very convenient to beach activities, excellent restaurants, and the quaint shops of Sandwich. The owner is accommodating, helpful, and an excellent communicator. I can’t imagine a better place to stay on Cape Cod. We are former residents of this beautiful town, and this property is ideal for our return visits to see friends and family. My family and I highly recommend this lovely home that is tastefully decorated and smartly laid out. We can’t wait for our return visit later this summer!

This vacation home is a wonderful place! We enjoy it every year we go. The house is impeccably maintained and has all the comforts of home. The beach is perfect and is never crowded. The general area is very quiet so it is truly a wonderful escape. If you like the hustle and bustle of the Cape it is only minutes away. Restaurants in the area are fantastic.

This home was the perfect escape on the Cape! It is sunny and very clean, and was the perfect fit for our girls vacation. The beach is beautiful, and so close by, and Rhonda was incredibly helpful and flexible. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for an affordable place to vacation with friends or family.

We 65+ers found all the comforts of home here--plenty of space, exactly as advertised, beautiful back yard with a variety of critters running through, handy to shopping, restaurants, points of interest, historical sites--at least everything in which we were interested. The hostess was blessedly flexible and fair, even leaving recipes when we inquired regarding local cuisine. She left plenty of material on points of interest and suggestions for sight-seeing and excursion opportunities. We particularly relished the drive to the very tip of Cape Cod where we investigated the various lighthouses, as well as a whale-watching excursion and a trip to the Sandwich Glass Museum. We would recommend this beautiful, clean, well-maintained, commodious property to anyone looking for a home away from home.
