My wife & I stayed in the condo the weekend of January 9,2009 with her sister & husband. The weather was cold but we stayed warm inside, especially by the fireplace. The view was clear & extraordinary. I love watching the water birds swim & fly by. I saw gulls, bufflehead ducks and a couple of other kind of ducks. We also saw a pair of bald eagles land 100 feet away on the top of a tree to the right of the kitchen & dining room area. We saw a few small & medium size boats go by and probably would have seen more if it hadn't been so cold. The bedroom we stayed in was off to the side by the hallway bathroom. We were quite comfortable and the shower was excellent because of the large shower head. The bedroom drapes were lined so almost no light creeped in when morning came to wake us before we were ready to get up. The bed was quite comfortable and roomy for the two of us. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed playing cards on the dining room table and lounging in the lounge chair as well as the couch while reading some magazines left in the condo as well as a couple of books we brought. We wandered over and looked at the group dining room and lounging areas as well as looked over the menu for the casual restaurant. However, we brought all of the food we needed for the weekend and prepared it & dined in the condo. We plan to return in the future when it is warmer so we can spend more time exploring the grounds and the marina. Very peaceful & relaxing.

My family absolutely loved this place!!! From the deck, we got to watch 6 sea otters playing on the beach!!! The kids loved the pool and playing in the loft. The condo was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. We’ll be back.

Excerpt from a very nice letter from one of our guests who authorized its use: Just a quick word to let you know how much we enjoyed your condo. This was 27 years in a row that our friends and us have gone some where to celebrate the New Year. We've been every where between Victoria and Palm Springs. And, I wanted you to know that your condo was the best equipped of all. And, believe it or not, the weather cooperated. It rained during the night on our last night and that was all.

One of my favorite places to stay. The condo is bright and cheery and is very well equipped for a week stay. You can simply relax on the deck and watch the ever-changing view or be quite active. Nice walking area, lots of wild life. I've seen deer walk up the steps right below the deck. This a prime location right on the water.
