We rented this condo for our honeymoon. This condo was excellent. It was well-appointed and well-stocked. Very luxurious. The furniture and decor were tastefully arranged with many artistic touches. It was also very clean, quiet and comfortable. Because it is centrally-located, we were able to reach all of our sight-seeing destinations with ease. Of course, the best part of the condo was the view, which is breathtaking--even better than the pics on the website. This place had huge windows which let us have an unhindered view of the ocean and Haleakala from just about any spot in the condo or on the lanai. One last thing...the owner was very nice and easy to work with. Would love to stay here again someday.

This place was just AWESOME!! Andreas, the owner, was very kind and accommodating. Maui was all that it was advertised to be and so was this condo. WOW, it was so beautiful!! The location was excellent, the layout was perfect and the view was mind-blowing! My wife and I were celebrating our 25th anniversary and we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. When we return to Maui, this condo will be the only one that we want to stay in. I recommend it 100%.

(from Aug 13th 2010 til Aug 20th 2010) My wife and I did a lot of research regarding where to stay while planning our vacation in Maui. We decided on this ocean view penthouse. To call it an ocean view is quite the understatement. The floor to ceiling views are nothing less than mesmerizing. Andreas (the host of host) is such a warm hearted person. You feel like you're being greeted by your favorite relative. :) He listened to our vacation interests and offered the places that complimented our desires. He even booked our sunset dinner cruise, which was my wife (Jackie) birthday delight. This doesn't include Stephanie surprising my wife with a beautiful floral arrangement that was placed on the front door. (very classy) Back to the lovely penthouse, waking up to the breath taking and welcoming sounds of the ocean was such a pleasure. The place is immaculate and cozy. Every section of the penthouse is covered with a designers touch. The complex is quiet. The location is within a short walking distance to the harbor, shops, casual and fine dining, ocean aquarium, the beach and more. Plus, a short drive to several major tourist attractions. I`m a thorough research fella, especially when it comes to where we reside during vacations. Andreas and his lovely vacation home is a place that you would definitely want to return to. We look forward to returning to Maui and will book our stay with Andreas. Thanks for saving me hours of researching when we return. :) (God willing) Also, thank you for allowing us to check out late (evening)....no charge! This place is amazing! My boyfriend and I stayed at the condo a few nights before heading over to the Fairmont Kea Lani for a work event. The resort was amazing, but the stay at the condo was by far our favorite stay in Maui! Andreas pays very close attention to detail and it shows. The location is perfect...great restaurants, bars, and beaches all in walking distance. Can't wait to return!!

This was our fifth trip to Hawaii. We’ve had our share of resorts, but having had a good experience with a condo in Turtle Bay, we decided to take our chance in Maui. After extensive web research, we settled for the Milowai Penthouse. In a condo, you have to pay in advance, and hold your breath until the check-in day arrives. The moment we stepped into this place, we were relieved and totally delighted. Location: it’s a quick drive from the airport, and since the location is central, you keep your choices open for visiting the whole island. The port of departure for boats to Molokini is just a 3 minutes walk away, as is the Maui Aquarium. There is a very good Safeway about 10-12 minutes drive south.The penthouse: there is a covered garage, and a large elevator. The penthouse overlooks the ocean, facing directly the Molokini island and the Haleakala. It has large panoramic windows all across the façade, and a balcony. The owner leaves two pairs of binoculars, so that you can look for whales that swim in from Dec to March. When we were there (Dec 2008), we could see sunrise and sunset. Sunrise was behind the Haleakala, with intense red/blue skies, and sunset was at our far right, with mellow rose/pale blues. The size is about twice that of an excellent resort suite. There are 2 complete bathrooms and one top-quality queen-size bed. All the towels and linens were new and very clean (extra beach towels were also provided). The living room has 2 sofas and a 60” flat screen TV on the wall with full cable, including HD channels, and a DVD player (we brought some DVDs, but there is also a Blockbuster beside Safeway). There is a smaller flat screen TV closer to the bed, which we didn’t use. There is a large dinner table, and a fully equipped modern kitchen. Last but not least: central a/c and wi-fi. The owner lives in Maui, and was very kind since the reservation process (we paid via Pay Pal). He even left us a welcome message in the machine with his phone numbers, in case we needed assistance.In short, this is a wonderful place to be in Maui. We don’t know if there are other condos like this in Hawaii, but we certainly do know where we’re heading next time.

The minute I stepped into the penthouse my jaw dropped, I could not believe the views, then I looked around and could not believe how beautiful the property was. It was super clean, beautifully decorated, a kitchen with everything you could possibly need, fancy lighting, both bathrooms were very nice. Very nice sheets and towels, very clean!! Lots of comfortable seating throughout, and the bed is amazingly comfortable. Private parking stall. It has the most amazing panaromic views of the ocean. This place was even more beautiful than the pictures. It is located in a nice central area of Maui, just a short drive to Lahaina or Kehei. It's perfect for honeymooners, you won't want to go out. Andreas provided excellent customer service, always got back to me with whatever my questions. I love to stay at the Hyatt or Hilton and this was by far nicer and one of the best places I have ever stayed in. We were able to see many whales every day right from the terrace. There was a mother and calf right in front of the property during our entire stay. Loved watching all the boats coming in and out of the harbor. They have a very nice pool and the grounds were very well maintained. Can't wait to return, we will always stay here each time we visit Maui. We have absolutely nothing negative to say about this place, other than It was extremely hard to leave. Ten days/nights were not long enough.

This was our first visit to Maui, and I researched places very well before deciding on where to stay. I finally decided that this looked like the best place for the money. We were not disapointed at all. It is VERY clean and the veiws are amazing. A walking beach is just a few blocks away. We enjoyed sunrises from the lanai, and even saw whales and a couple of dolphins. Binoculars are provided. This place is equipped with everything imaginable. The gadgets and applicances are top of the line. We were very impressed! It is very quiet in this area, so I would suggest it for married couples who are not bringing children. It is centrally located so getting to other places on the Island was never a problem. We will return and stay at this same place.

Recommended for:Age 55+, romantic getaway.

My 2 adult daughters and I had a chance to meet my husband after a business trip in Maui end of May. We needed a place for 4 and I went on the Internet looking. I saw many options but was utterly taken by the pictures of Milowai #407....almost too hard to believe such up to date decor and furnishings for a condo. It became our first choice, even tho all 8 nites were not available---we took the 5 that were-- and ended up staying at the resort my husband had been working at---the Grand Wailea for the first 3 nites. We enjoyed all the amenities at the resort, but really appreciated the condo for the more restful pace and quiet pool. Also enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and on the barbque----saved alot of money compared to the Grand Wailea's prices!! My daughters, 21 and 25, loved the condo and the relaxing pool and beach--a break from their busy work schedules, Overall, we would recommend this as a family get away. We were given ten days at this WONDERFUL penthouse. It was so much more than we could have hoped for. It contained everything that we might need. The kitchen was fully equipped and the furniture was so beautiful especially the dining room table. The view was wonderful. I was told by a friend how wonderful it was but It is beyond belief. The view from the balcony at sunrise and sunset is breath taking. I hope to visit there again many times in the future. Andreas suggested many wonderful activities to us. We had always heard that Maui was heaven and now we know that the penthouse is where it is. Livin at the beach in South Carolina, I thought we had the best but after our vacation I would recommend the penthouse and the beaches at Maui.

We stayed here for a week in Dec and it was awesome!! The decor in the condo is amazing and the ocean view is outstanding. Also try the Waterfront restaurant on the first floor.....very good!! Will be back and will be staying here again!

WOW!!!!!! what a wonderful honeymoon in a gorgeous property. this penthouse made the event of our honeymoon special. thank you so much payal for all your help and kindness. We will for sure be back and we have already told all our friends and showed pics from the place.everyone was so impressed!! i can't say enough times how grateful we are to all of you that helped make this possible for us at such short notice. but i hope you can sense the excitment and gratitude!!! until our next trip...............sincerly, jamie and lori johnson:}

I was a little nervous to buy rental space from my PC after I decided I wanted to visit Hawaii for the very first time. After several days of looking over sites,tickets,activities,etc...I wondered across this site. I then contacted Andreas who promplty returned my phone call. He was more than helpful with additional pictures and activities in the area. I thought they just had to be too good to be true. Especially the GREAT rates. I was a little skeptical, none the less I sent a deposit and tried my luck. I called Andreas when we landed in Maui. I picked up my Mustang Convertible put the top down and started down the road of the most beautiful place I had ever seen. With his help he guided me straight to the penthouse. I was pleased to see that this penthouse was right next door to the marina!! We then pulled into the covered parking lot unloaded our bags and got on the elevator. Im STILL sure that this is too good to be true. We rang the bell and when he opened the door I couldnt believe my eyes. I saw the view of a lifetime. ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!! Floor to ceiling windows, full kitchen, detailed decor, all I can say is it was gorgeous. The penthouse was more than I could have imagined. I felt silly and a little ashamed of myself for doubting it but it happens. People will lead you to believe things are better than what they are to get your money. This whole experience was just like a dream. Memories that will stay we me for a lifetime. He even helped get us tickets to events and some were sold out! We stayed for 10 days for the first leg of our trip in Maui. The last 6 days of our trip we were going to Oahu to stay at the exclusive Turtle Bay Resort. So the 11th day we leave the penthouse and fly to Oahu. Well the 2nd day I truly have to say I was sorry I left. The overpriced resort was NOT what we had expected at all. The food was overpriced. The service (which is what the advertise) was NOT personable at all. After arriving we spent 3 hours waiting for our villa to be cleaned. When we got in we had no kitchen the fridge didnt work etc...It was just a mess. So the last of our vacation was a bit dissapointing BUT we have already made plans to go back and visit Andreas. He even has helped us find more condos for the extra people we are going to bring back with us in the future. This is in no way to just dis Turtle Bay just a comparison. I would pick Maui and the courteous, very personable,treatment from Andreas and his friends while we were there.
