Welcome to historic Kingsbury Cottage. Ideally located in a seaside neighborhood, our lovely light filled 2nd floor flat makes a perfect vacation retreat.
Each light and airy bedroom has comfortable new beds (1 Queen, 2 Twins) and air conditioners. A spacious and fully equipped kitchen opens to a delightful glass/screened sunporch. The large living room has a new twin sleeper. Kingsbury Cottage (circa 1889), has retained its historic charm, while having all the comforts of home including a washer/ dryer, cable TV, and wireless internet.
Harbor Beach, with its picturesque coastline and spectacular Cliff Path views, is a short 5 minute walk. Just steps from our door, Fisherman’s Walk leads you along the York River, the marinas, and the inner harbor. Cross the Wiggly Bridge, enjoy breakfast in historic York Village, or take a leisurely stroll to the York Harbor Inn & Tavern for dinner or drinks. Central Location - walk to 'Harbor Beach' , 'Longs Sands' and 'Short Sands' beaches are a quick 3 minute drive: For day trips to Boston (1 hour), Portsmouth, NH (15 minutes), Kittery Outlet shopping (10 minutes), Ogunquit (15 minutes), Portland , ME (45 minutes), NH mountains (Winnepesaukee region 1 hour, White mountains 1-1/2 hours), Bath-Boothbay Region (1-2 hour), Penobscot Bay Region (2-1/2 hours); Freeport shopping (1 1/4 hours )Buses and trains serve a variety of these locations. An old fashioned 'Trolley ' operates between Long Sands and Short Sands in York Beach during the summer season.
Boating, Fishing, Golf, Kayaking ,Yoga, Hiking, Biking, Shopping : Boating and fishing trips can be arranged from the town docks as well as kayak tours and rentals. An excellent public golf course, 'York Ledges', is located in York. Within a short walking distance to York Village, there is a yoga studio offering classes and a bicycle shop that offers rentals. 'Stonewall Kitchens' flagship store with a cafe, and cooking school is a 5 minute drive away. Beach front arcades, merry-go-rounds, Ferris wheels, water parks and saltwater taffy all in nearby York Beach. York Harbor itself is a quiet, refined and very beautiful area with an outstanding beach and lovely places to walk and jog. But it is central to one of the best vacation areas in the country and we will be happy to help you plan something special if you call us.
Health Care: York's excellent Hospital is within walking distance. Portsmouth Regional is 15 minutes away. Maine Medical Center is 45 minutes and Boston's renowned hospitals are just an hour drive.

I would definitely recommend 'Harborwalk' for a rental in York Harbor! First of all, if you are coming to York Harbor for the first time you will not be disappointed - it is a wonderful, charming spot for the quintessential Maine summer holiday. And this condo in particular is tucked in on a picturesque little street, walking distance to the harbor and the beach. The layout of the condo is perfect for a small family - we were able to put our boys to sleep in the back bedroom and still talk loudly and watch TV in the living areas at the other side of the condo without any concerns of waking them. The condo is nicely appointed and has been recently updated, but still maintains a lot of the original character and charm you would expect from a Victorian Maine cottage. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!!Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+.

York Harbor is a fabulous spot for a family beach vacation. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this sunny and beautifully decorated unit. It is a great set up for families with 2 children and the owners are so welcoming and helpful. Walking to Harbor Beach, seeing seals in the Harbor, discovering the Wiggly Bridge, and York Zoo/Park were all highlights. We will definitely be back.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, age 55+.

Lovely condo, fresh, bright roomy and airy. Very comfortable. Well maintained property and with an attractive yard. Within walking distance of the Village, the beach and walking paths. We were very pleasantly surprised that for a holiday week (July 4th) the beaches and restaurants were not too crowded. All in all a winner of a condo and vacation spot. Planning on a return visit.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

What a charming get-away! The condo was even more attractive, bright, airy and spacious than the pictures lead you to believe. The view from the kitchen and screened in room of the river were a delight as the leaves were not out yet and we could watch the lobster boats. It was a pleasure for a birdwatcher. It was the perfect accommodation for a spring vacation and I can imagine spectacular in full summer. The walking was wonderful, the Cliff Walk, Harbor Beach, and the walk by the river are all right there, the coast was beautiful, and when we returned everything we needed was there, including an outdoor grill. A trip to Portland for Lighthouse trail walking, shopping and dining out was an easy trip, less than an hour away. The getaway ended with a fabulous dinner by the fireplace at the Tavern of the York Harbor Inn just a two minute walk away. Will definitely be returning to this condo for a summer visit.
