Kick back and relax from the screened in lanai overlooking the sparkling blue waters of the gulf and enjoy beautiful sunsets. Watch the dolphins and manatee play in front of you. Look to the left for a view of Naples, to the right for a view of Sanibel. The lanai is a spacious 10' x 12' allowing ample room for a full size table and chairs. The upgraded glass sliders opening to the lanai, have Movable (not fixed) panels that allow you to open up the space to either side (your preference) and have 67% of the glass area open at anytime vs. the usual 33% opening. This permits twice the airflow into the unit and increased accessibility to and from the lanai. You can enter the lanai from either the living room or the master bedroom. Why the Owner Chose Bonita Beach
We bought in Bonita Beach because we believe it's one of the best locations in South Florida. The Egret is located on Little Hickory Island and we are the second highrise on the island. As a result our beach is very quiet and secluded compared to other properties further north on the island. Bonita is a great location as you're 10 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Ft. Myers Beach and 10 minutes from Naples. In addition Sanibel and Captiva are close by. You can see them from the Lanai. If you want to get away from the beach, restaurants, shopping, golf, tennis, and any activity you could imagine are close by. Doc's Beachclub is within walking distance where you can rent wave runners, etc. and enjoy live music on the beach.
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
We love walking the beach and watching the dolphins. Because our property is located in the residential part of Little Hickory Island it's fun to look at the beach mansions during our walks. We also love the building and it's design. It's a small building - only 40 units - so it's quaint. In addition our unit is in the 01 stack which is the best stack in the building because it affords the best views and is the closest unit to the water on the entire island. Another benefit for us is we are on the 3rd floor so we're high enough to get the gorgeous views and low enough that we can walk up the stairs and get a little exercise :-)

We love to have happy time at the beach and our Lanai at The Egret is the perfect location. We hope to be snow birds someday and enjoy a season of sunsets and happy times. In the meantime you are welcome to enjoy our backyard for a month at a time.
