Hi Gertrude! Thank you, thank you, thank you sooo much for allowing us to stay at beautiful Boca Ciega Bay! Pat and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The condo was perfect and just what we like! We found the pool extremely nice with so many nice people to talk to! We never did find the fitness room, but we did get a run in on the beach a couple of days!! I was wondering what kind of bed is in room 203, because I never slept so well in my life. The pillows were exceptional as well! We will definitely be back again some day…..gotta save our pennies Thanks again! Brenda and Patrick

After 2 days of travelling with torrential rain, it was really nice to arrive at this condo. Sun was shining & we had blue skies.Condo was clean & even had fresh flowers! Got to see the dolphins jumping in the bay and closer to the edge some fish! It was all just so relaxing and beautiful! Would definetly go back. Gertrude is a gem to deal with & she answers your calls/e-mails very quickly if you have questions or concerns. If you're looking to visit St. Petersburg, THIS is the place to stay. Close to shopping & several restaurants & not far from John's Pass or St. Pete Beach. Will most definetly recommend this place to friends and family. We're ready to go back!

We stayed in a one bedroom condo plenty of room and very comfortable. Gertrude was easy to work with and very helpful. Have only been home two days and want to return. We saw Dolphins everyday for our enjoyment. We had breakfast every morning on our balcony and the sunrise and view was just beautiful. We will be back best trip and stay ever.

We were looking for a convenient spot while visiting my mother-in-law in St. Petersburg and couldn't have found a better choice. Unit 414 was perfect, and we'll certainly be calling again! We brought my mother-in-law out to the unit, and you were right, she LOVED sitting out on the balcony and watching the boats go by ... No stairs, easy elevator access, great for anyone with mobility issues. The view is so much fun -- better, in our opinion, than beachfront for anyone over 40. The balcony is shaded from the sun, has a magnificent view of boats, marina and all sorts of harbor activity. We enjoyed baking a batch of chocolate chip cookies in the well-equipped (very clean and tidy) kitchen and sitting out on the spacious balcony with a view of the full moon, a cup of instant cappuccino and some hot-baked cookies. Couldn't get much cozier ... Gertrude was wonderfully helpful in arranging everything, and all went exactly as planned. Wifi, btw, is free and fast. We will definitely return.

My husband and I had a wonderful time here! It has all the comforts of home plus a beautiful view. It was a beautiful sight watching the sun set on the balcony. There were plenty of great places to visit, nice resturaunts and shopping malls close by.

This is a perfect location and an absolutely wonderful condo. I don't know what I enjoyed the most, having breakfast on the patio while watching the Dolphins swim in the bay, feeding the "mama" duck and her 10 little ducklings, the Pinellas Bike Trail directly across the street and Ft. Desoto for blading or simply relaxing at the beach! The location is ideal for active visitors without having to deal with the beach crowds and yet close to good restaurants and shopping malls. You will want to return or stay longer once you're here. Thank you Gertrude for making our vacation such a pleasure!!! We will be back.

My husband surprised me with a great get away. Gertrude was so accomadating and our little dog was invited too! We rented a boat on Sunday and enjoyed the many restaurants in the area. We would definitely visit this clean and comfortable condo again.

With the view, the location, the bicycle trail and the doggy parks,... our stay was great. There are super restaurants and museums to visit and the beauty of the area is awesome. We were thankful that we brought our bicycles because the Pinellas Bike Trail is so much fun. I highly recomment the Dali museum along with the Chihuly collection. We have so much more to see when we come down again. The pelicans were a delight to watch from the balcony, as they fished, in the mornings and evenings. We were very impressed with St. Petersburg and their beaches. Can't wait to visit again. Gertrude makes sure you have everything you need and are a happy camper! THANKS!

Hello again Gertrude, Sadly, our week in the condo is coming to an end. We really enjoyed our stay and the condo itself and the location are perfect for just the two of us. We enjoyed chatting with some of the other renters as well as some owners through whom we heard that you yourself own a unit in the building. I have stayed at 2 of your units now and enjoyed my stay both times. Weather was perfect while I was there, and we had a great time. Nice location, convenient to many places in St. Petersburg. The view is incredible, and it was so fun to watch the boats come and go in the channel. We even saw a group of dolphins swim through one morning! The condo is nice- a little small, but it worked. It could use some artwork on the walls, a softer bed (ours was too hard) and the road noise got loud at times. It woke us up in the morning when the am traffic picked up. Also, our dishwasher didn't work, so we did dishes by hand. On site management was nice, although it took some doing to get a response to a few of our initial website inquiries. We would return to stay here. We suspect our improvement area comments will be edited from this review, since the other reviews appear to be "scrubbed" with everything being nothing but perfect.

Never doing this before, my wife and I decided to spend a month in Florida and get away from the cold Chicago weather. We searched the internet and really couldn't find a place that would accept a small dog until we found Boca Ciega and Gertrude. She understood our needs and said that she had just what we were looking for. We arrived after driving a day and a half to find the condo unit clean and ready for us. We were thrilled with the accomadations. The view from our condo was great. We saw the dolphins and a sting ray. We never used the pool because the temperature during February 2010 was in the 50s. Gertrude, the lovely lady she is, kept apologizing for the weather. We've talked with her by phone and e-mail and we are booked for February 2011. We are looking forward to a nice stay and hope to meet Gertrude in person

Gertrude was wonderful to deal with and very willing to accommodate. Great location near everything. Condo was nicely decorated with a comfy king bed. Pool area overlooking bay was great! Condo was small but great for a couple and a small pet. We loved it and will stay again next time we are in town. Plus, it is a wonderful deal!

My husband and I stayed for a long weekend at the condo at Boca Ciega. We had a wonderful time laying by the pool and relaxing as we watched the boats go by in the Bay. We were close enough to drive up to Clearwater for dinner one night and St. Pete the next. We actually preferred to stay where we were because it wasn't in the midst of the hustle and bustle. And the Green Iguana next store is SOO GOOD! We were sad we waited until the last day to eat there. A wonderful place to stay!

Gertrude does all she can do to help you. We loved unit #213 with it's beautiful views; we saw dolphins within our first hour. Treasure Island beaches are only 10 miutes away.

This was a great place to enjoy a quick get away for the Falcons game. The (5)night stay was great. The condo was very comfortable and centrally located to Tampa and the beach. I hope I get the chance to return again real soon.

Hi Gertrude! We wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your apartment. We were extremely comfortable and thrilled with the decor and cleanliness! We both got some much needed rest and relaxation! Everything we could have possibly needed was there...from the kitchen accessories to fishing! We enjoyed our morning coffee from the balcony each morning...how peaceful to be by the water! Even for a local girl from Tampa, this place was a dream. So relaxing and chill. Love the panoramic view and the pool & spa. We also saw dolphins from the pool deck. It was just perfect and we didn't want to leave, even to go to the beach! We will definitely return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 days stay and loved the condo. It was clean, well taken care of and the bed was very comfortable. We even had a FREE dolphin show one day while we sat by the lovely pool. The condo was close to the gulf beaches and our trips to visit friends in the area. It was very relaxing to sit and watch the boats on the bay right in front of us. We would LOVE to stay there again. Gertrude is a very nice person to rent from. We could not have asked for a better vacation place.

Firstly what a joy dealing with the owner Gertrude, then the condo , abolutely first class , immaculately clean every facility you could possibly want, high quality fixtures and fittings and the most comfortable of beds. The view is great especially when the dolphins swim by, great pool and jacuzzi i wouild reccomend to anybody and would definetly use again , a gem among some very average condos, so just to say THANK YOU GERTRUDE

Delightful. Everything is so new and nice. It was really convenient for us to handle our business in St. Pete and in Tampa. Other than that, we did not want to leave---it was so beautiful. I really DID see dophins, while we were in the pool! We will definitely stay here again when we return.
