Property - This Distinguished Contemporary Home sits on a four and a half acre wooded hillside lot offering spectacular views of the Green Mountains and provides the utmost in privacy. There is a view of the Mount Snow Ski Area from the great Room in the Winter.
Interior- Eight, five foot square windows bring incredible light into this beautifully designed passive solar home. Working in concert, the highly sophisticated and very efficient air handling system warms the nearly 5000 square foot home in the winter at minimal cost.
The home was designed with three separate bedroom wings and a Great Room which is 40' X 28' encompassing a large sunken living room with massive stone wall and gas fireplace, Conversation Room, Dining Room, and Kitchen all enjoy the spectacular light and spaciousness from 28 to 32 foot ceilings (that=s three stories high!).
Kitchen/Dining- The Kitchen is fully equipped with a commercial four burner gas stove, char-broiler, and flat top cooking surface, dual microwaves, Granite counter tops and a huge dining table that seats 12 plus bar stools.
The Master bedroom area is accessed from the great room and is up the only full flight of stairs in the house. There is a dressing area as you enter the room, sleeping area, large walk-in closet with built-ins for great storage, and a large bathroom with redwood walls. You will enjoy a deep forest view from the large windows and will appreciate a spacious feeling from nearly 12 foot high ceilings.
The library is located a few steps up from the Master Bedroom wing and overlooks the center of the house.
Guest Bedroom Wing One has one bedroom, full bath, whirlpool room and Shower appointed with Redwood walls and planter as well as a Wet-Bar and refrigerator for entertaining.
Guest Wing two - has two separate bedrooms with large full Bath with his and her sinks. There is a 42 foot private entranced deck that runs the length of this wing.
A few steps down from the Kitchen is a gracious, light paneled Bedroom, Game room, or Office; your choice!
Lower Level A few more steps down is the lower level where you will find a well designed Laundry Room, Playroom/Utility Room/Ski Room This area is totally above grade with windows and paved entrance with double door.
The Decks There are five decks that surround the house and are accessible from nearly every room in the house.

The Unique Benefits of this House
Several entertainment areas. Great kids play area on lower level. Five bedrooms. Sleeps as many as 13 plus more on sofa beds. One of our previous renters had a NYE party for 115 people.
