This beautiful three-bedroom, three-bath home is right on fairway #17. It's the perfect place for that buddy golf outing you have been wanting to take, a romantic getaway, or a fun-filled family vacation. The large screened back porch provides a wonderfully relaxing place to have coffee and watch the deer that roam freely on this Low country resort island and nature preserve.
All bedrooms have televisions, as does the Great Room. There is both free high speed cable Internet service as well as WiFi. The kitchen is fully equipped -- from china dinner service for eight to specialty seafood cookware. The electric stove and overhead microwave make meal preparation easy. The glass-topped dining room table creates an elegant adult dining atmosphere as much as it provides a care-free setting for children. Placemats and table runners are also at the ready on the bakers rack.
Off-street parking accommodates two cars alongside the free golf cart. A man's and a woman's set of golf clubs are provided with the house rental so you don't have to worry about how to get your own clubs here.
On the coast of South Carolina, Fripp Island is a popular, but not crowded resort just over 20 miles from downtown Beaufort. One of the oldest towns in the South, Beaufort is steeped in a rich history that is celebrated year-round by various festivals and events. The Big Chill, The Great Santini, Prince of Tides, Jungle Book, Forest Gump, and GI Jane are just some of the movies that have been filmed in the area.
In addition to its many gourmet restaurants, and wonderful antique shops, Beaufort is known for its mild climate and almost-year-round golfing, boating and fishing. Also just a few miles away from Fripp Island is South Carolina's most popular beach, Hunting Island Beach, in Hunting Island State Park. Fripp Island is a barrier island and a wildlife paradise. Low country marshes, 3 1/2 miles of Atlantic shore beaches, a marina, abundant wildlife, two top-notch golf courses, and Camp Fripp for kids makes Fripp Island a great all-year-round-vacation spot for the entire family.

Fripp Island Getaway" had everything I expected and more. The roomy master suite with jacuzzi was incredible. A very comfortable bed and quaint sitting area made the suite superb. A television in all 3 bedrooms and the living/dining area was a nice touch. I always travel with my laptop, so the free high speed connection was wonderful -- a "must-have" amenity that too few vacation homes carry. We also found the kitchen well equipped -- the outdoor grill topped it off nicely. The entire house was clean and cheery. The island restaurants have great food and service. The golf, swimming and tennis facilities are second to none. Almost everything is within easy walking distance, although a golf cart ride on the island is fun! We will certainly plan a return visit to "Fripp Island Getaway". Kudos to the owners/managers of this lovely home.

Fripp Island is a very peaceful place! The surroundings invite you to relax and slowing down the daily stress. The house is just wonderful. It is equipped with everything you need (even with much more). The beach is just around the block; very nice pools are easy to access by using the provided golf cart. Thank you Gladys and thank you MaryAnn for helping us with our “special needs” so quick and easy!

The website description of this cottage and the photos are completely accurate. The owner is wonderful, warm, prompt and friendly. The property is spotless. Our experience here was one of the best we've ever had! No photos could do justice to the charm of this cottage and the amazing beauty of this island. I would highly recommend staying here.
